“I had such an amazing experience at Franklin Fixtures I could scream it to the world. A little back story, my family and I took a huge chance and purchased a bistro across the country from us. We moved having only pictures of the place and an honest word of its state. Well, as it so often goes, pictures are deceiving and words don’t always hold a lot of truth. Never having been in the industry before, we were at a loss as to where to begin. We knew we needed new equipment, so after a quick google search we came across Franklin’s. Scott was incredible! He helped us find what we needed without trying to upsell us newer or bigger equipment than we really needed. One piece we really wanted he didn’t have in the warehouse.. so he specially ordered it for us!! He worked within our budget without pressure. After we had what we needed, Scott’s incredibly friendly team helped us get our equipment to our new shop and place it where we needed it to be. We’ve gone back several times for different odds and ends and I know we will be life long customers. As crazy as it sounds, I’m near tempted to invite the guy to Thanksgiving dinner! Jokes aside, the help was more than we could have ever asked for and took a huge pressure off of two people who bit off way more than they could chew. Scott, thank you again!!”

“Went in this week as my lease was coming up on my current vehicle. When dealing with the salesman Mike, he said that I would be able to pick up my new vehicle in 2 days (on a Friday) as I was heading out of town for a while due to school and I thought that it was amazing for him to have this set up for 2 days after signing the deal. After talking to finance, Lisa said that it might take a little linger because of the new leasing company, but she would try her best to make it happen if not we would have to set up a different pick-up date. Fortunately everything worked out in our favour and I was able to pick up on the Friday. I want to thank both Mike and Lisa for the amazing service they provided me in this transition. “I want to thank Lee and Rob for quickly taking care of my problem. My car wouldn’t start after work today and my key fob/metal key wouldn’t work as well. I have had AAA for 40 years and called them. A nice enough man jumped my battery but told me that my battery was dead. My husband recommended going to Battery Wholesale to have the battery tested. Lee and Rob tested my battery and said that it was in good condition. The key fob needed a new battery. I had it replaced and headed home. Excellent customer service and only 5-10 minutes of my time. I highly recommend this business!”

“We started using the Poolside Shop shortly after our pool was installed. We had another pool company put ours in. While they did a great job putting it in we kept having problems getting the pool water stabilized. If the chlorine was good the ph was off; if the ph was good the chlorine was high. This went on for a couple of years. (Thankfully that establishment is no longer in business.) As anyone owner can confirm, it's exasperating when one's pool water just won't cooperate. On a whim, one season when we were opening our pool, we tried the Poolside Shop near us on Alexis Road. We met Gary, the main guy at this location, and he started us off by giving us a log sheet we use each time we bring water in for testing. In this way both he and we can keep track of our treatments. He gave us specific instructions on what we needed to do and when we needed to. In just a couple of trips our frustrations began to subside. The water began clearing up and we were ready for the splashing to begin. Then three years ago, Gary talked to us about a relatively new filter product: glass. We were skeptical because our sand filter was working just fine - so why mess with success? As he explained, the glass media would give even better results. We finally agreed and took the plunge (no pun intended). I had to take all the sand out. The smell was disgusting. The results? Our water seemed silkier and we noticed a minor decrease in chlorine usage. My advice? If using sand media please make the switch to glass. You won't regret it. One has to use a supplemental treatment once a month but it's a small price to pay for better filter function. Further advice? Use the Poolside Shop. We've used them for 13 or 14 years...they know what they're doing and won't steer you wrong.”
