“I found this place from a Toledo Black Owned Businesses list and I love trying new types of food so I had no expectations. I think I missed the front while driving by and as I drove around the place looked shuttered and abandoned. But I persisted bc I was hungry and saw someone walking around the back so I took a chance on a door. Here's where my only real issue with the place came in: the online menu is not accurate. No worries with covid and all so I ordered some jerk chicken, greens, and red beans/rice. The food was excellent! I'm definitely eyeing some of their other dishes for next time. I dunno what an oxtail is but I wanna try it. If you're like me and from out of town (and super white haha) you might feel kind of awkward as this place seems like a very local spot but the food is good l.”

“I have heard so much about eating gluten free and I discovered that Vito's Pizza has a gluten free option so I ordered a gluten free all meat. When I got it, I thought it was a thin crust and I was thinking they gave me the wrong pizza. I was looking for the regular crust pizza then I realized from watching a video on YouTube, that gluten free doesn't swell like regular gluten products and the video used dough to explain the difference visually. This pizza was amazing! My stomach was Happy! My stomach wasn't bloated at all like it normally us from eating regular pizza. I normally can only eat 2 pieces of regular gluten pizza because I'll get full and bloated but with the gluten free pizza, I had 4 slices with no problem and saved the rest for the next day. I was also very hungry. There is a big difference and I will stick to offering Gluten Free! Thank you Vito's for a perfectly cooked gluten free Pizza. I will be back! (Douglas Rd)”

“I hadn't been to Nick's since the late 1990s, and when my mother and I went there yesterday (October 2, 2020), we had the best breakfast we'd had anywhere in a long time! I loved my apple French toast and ham and 2 eggs sunny side up and large orange juice. The service was wonderful too. Our server was very friendly and served our food and drinks promptly. I look forward to eating there again soon. ☺️”
