“Everything about the Hospice House is BEAUTIFUL!! Starting with the ABSOLUTELY beautiful staff and volunteers, caring, kind, sooo helpful and understanding. They are all very educated about death and dying and use their knowledge to help every single patient and the loved ones to understand and accept. Then the grief support after passing was phenomenal, SO VERY HELPFUL and comforting!! The grounds are Beautiful, benches and seats placed at every little alcove, offering serene and relaxing views, no matter what time of the year!! Giving the patient loved ones a place to absorb, reflect and try to come to a peaceful place of mind and acceptance. The "House" in itself instantly brings one to a comfortable, soothing feeling, a welcoming volunteer to help at the front door. The nurses and assistants will lead you to the OH MY GOODNESS...VERY spacious and beautiful rooms that also offer a cozy and comfortable space for many loved ones to gather, supporting each other and sit with your loved one who, is getting almost 1 on one care. The patients are checked on very frequently as needed and listen to the family concerns and suggestions, implementing your information about the patient in his/her best interest. I have had to make end of life care 3 times in a short period of time and each time, without question, I chose this "Home" for my loved one. If you should need end of life, all around, pure support, this REALLY IS The Place to be!!🙏🕊💞”
