So friggin' welcoming. It's my favorite place to be. Come learn some awesome stuff from awesome people and make some awesome friends.
After training with some of the greats out in California like Javier Vasquez for the last 8 years I was hesitant to go to any schools here in Ohio while visiting. I reached out to Justin and he was very welcoming and prompt to answer my questions. Then welcomed me to open mat ( the next avaliable class ) and the team was just as welcoming welcoming, were considerant of my injury and still did an awesome job of teaching me never underestimate the person in front of you. From inverted Kimura traps from a white belt to toe holds and knee bars from their brown belt I can say these guys know their stuff and are very well versatile. If you live in the area, or even have to make a commute like I come check these guys out and enjoy some amazing yet tiring rolls.
One of my favorite dojos in the WORLD! State of the art facility with plenty of space. Classes on most days of the week. Justin is a great teacher, and takes time to work with each person. If you attend this gym, your grappling WILL improve!
Excellent place to roll! Drop-ins are welcomed. All patches and gi colors accepted. Women and men encouraged here! There’s extra gis if you need to borrow one. Love of BJJ here with knowledge to help you win at tournaments. The instructor teaches concepts and how to flow from a sequence of moves. Down to Earth! Great members! Sign your waiver and roll!
Walking through the doors to Iron & Soul for the first time, two months ago, was probably the best decision I made in regards to training. Justin is an awesome instructor who really cares about his students. He's able to break down the moves so even the beginners, like me, are able to understand and execute the moves fairly easily. I enjoy the atmosphere here, the other students are great training partners, who also care about how well you understand the moves that were taught. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to try out jiu jistu or to anyone who is looking to try out a different gym.
