“I really appreciate all of the amenities Candlewood provides for their guests at a price that isn't overwhelming. The staff is friendly, rooms are nice and clean and their checkout time isn't until noon. I love that they have kitchens with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, salt and pepper, cooking items, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and a refrigerator with an.ice maker. In case you may need anything they have an area you can purchase items and have them billed to your room. They also offer washers and dryers where guests can do their laundry at no charge. Feel like cooking out? They have that covered too with very nice grills available and ready to use. They have regular sized shampoo, conditioner and body wash ready to use in the shower and dish soap and dishwasher detergent in the kitchen. They also have a lending cabinet where you can borrow anything from a blender to a board game and a business center for those that might need it. Basically they go above and beyond to help their guests out and to make sure we're happy. I'd say they do a wonderful job.”

“My mom and dad purchased plots from Dawn Valley from a door to door salesman in 1971. It seems that was their preferred method of shopping back then as I have the dictionaries, encyclopedias and brushes to prove it. Lol. They purchased based on location as it was near Bush Lake, which was a center point of fun activities we were doing as a family during the time. I imagine they also chose DV, because it is beautiful, tranquil, and surrounded by nature. This review is based on my mom’s funeral last week. Planning a funeral is no fun. It’s overwhelming, because of the timing and the unknowns. I can say without hesitation that my parents chose well. The staff of Dawn Valley was amazing. They made the process easy, smooth, and stress free. We feared pressure sales. Never did this happen and it was made clear throughout the process they would work with us and it would be perfect. The funeral itself was beautifully done. They chose a wonderful minister, who despite never meeting my mom made us feel like they knew each other. All in all, for a hard thing to go through they made it seamless and stress free. The perfect day for a immensely loved and missed mom. Thank you, Dawn Valley!”

Salma, Director of Operations, is wonderful and handled a small problem for me. The hotel is very clean with comfortable beds and very large televisions, which my husband appreciates. “It has improved a lot. And even though mobile homes are intangible property and not considered real estate (we pay for LOT rent. Not TRAILER rent) the new trailers make the neighborhood look 10x better. That's where our money went (living expenses increased almost 60% three years ago). It went into these new trailers which are intangible property and they're not considered real estate (lots are real estate). Our money hasn't gone into much of our REAL ESTATE, or lots, which is what we pay for. Lot rent. They paved the roads a couple years ago and nothing has been done to our lots since then. Except for today. They're FINALLY paving our parking spots. I've lived here for almost 12 years and this will be the first time ever that my parking spot has been repaved. New management has been here for three years. It took new management to three years for me to see my money put to work. Again, mobile homes are intangible property. I don't want to see my money going towards those. I want to see my money going towards something I pay for... like a "LOT"... REAL ESTATE. Overall, with the new trailers and everything else, it looks nicer. But, I'm dishing out more money to help improve this community and in return, it has made it more difficult to make improvements to my home. We own our home. It's our responsibility to make improvements. We need to buy all materials for the improvements and we also need to buy all tools to make improvements. NOTHING has been done to help us. We have seen absolutely no improvements to our lot or home, even though we are paying almost 60% more than what we were paying a few years ago. I was on the verge of making better improvements to my own home until these new managers showed up. But, oh yeah... they're paving our parking spots... finally... Gee thanks!”
