I upgraded my AC to a heat pump to reduce my heating oil costs in the winter as the price of oil rises. I was slotted in for installation very quickly, and the installation itself went fast and smooth. The installation techs (David & Tyler U.) were extremely respectful of our home and communicated with me as the homeowner in a respectful and professional manner. The quality of the installation is outstanding. I could not be more pleased with this experience! Update: I needed help understanding how to configure the new smart thermostat. Schneller Knochelmann sent out Eric M. right away to answer my questions. Not only did he get the thermostat set up the way I wanted it, he also checked my existing air handler and made an adjustment to the blower speed to optimize it for cooling and heating. He also did a follow-up pressure check on the new heat pump and found that it needed a little bit more refrigerant to be perfectly balanced.
