“The joint did not have the old Long John's Silver look or feel. It was a vibrant and colorful place with a very authentic mural with a great NoLa look and feel. Even the sticky floors reminded me of the south. I had the Chef Special and the catfish was juicy with a great thin breading. The wings were supposed to be hot and spicy but tasted more like sweet and spicy. The gumbo had a excellent tasting thin roux with yummy sausage and chicken. However it was missing a bit of the holy trinity with no okra or celery. I was a bit disappointed. Yolanda was a great host and is the reason for an extra star and a half.”

“My family visited this location on a Thursday night. We got seated quickly. Great portion sizes and really enjoyable food. I asked the server for a suggestion of what to eat and she suggested the Tropical Fajita. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, she nailed it. My family enjoyed their meals as well. “Trying our pie the first time tonight. The pepperoni rolls have a sweetness to the outside, making the initial bite incredible with its crunchiness adding to it. It's not the biggest store but they have a decent selection of food, snacks, drinks up to windshield wiper blades. I've known people who have worked at Cristy's in the past, and they've been able to attest to the quality ingredients used. The subs and even salads are great as well if somebody doesn't want pizza. The two downsides of Cristy's are both cost. One cost is the price being higher than competition, which I feel is justified. The other cost is possibly your health as this is the greasiest pizza I've ever encountered. These add up to Cristy's being a great choice on occasion. This location has somewhat tight parking next to the building, but there's an abundance of space across the road.”

“This was my first time here and I wanted to order everything! It was a little busy when we arrived, was offered right away bar seating but we waiting for a table which didn’t take long, maybe 15 minutes. The food was amazing! For the fried pickles they used decent sized spears and it wasn’t mostly breading like some restaurants. Pretzel bites with the cheese sauce was great. It was hard to decide between the omelet of the day and chicken and waffles. I went with the omelet of the day since the chicken and waffles is on the menu. The everything but the bagel breakfast was delightful. You can tell everything was fresh and homemade. Misty was our server and she was excellent! You can see she was busy but that didn’t deter her from making sure we had a top notch experience. Don’t worry, I’ll be back for those chicken and waffles, plus almost everything else.”

“We LOVE Danny's! The food is ALWAYS delicious. We have visited weekly since they opened for the season and as long as the weather is good, we will continue to be there weekly! They have the BEST burgers, I can't even describe how delicious they are or what sets them apart. You just have to try one to know. They're so good that our 8 year old will eat an entire quarter pound burger there, and he's a picky eater. I can't really say enough good things about the food. “Do not sleep on this place! My family and I visited on a weeknight, and the place was completely empty. Considering how good the pizza is, we were shocked. Although, I imagine the vast majority of their business is pickup orders. The cheese and crust were absolutely perfect, and I believe they could hold their heads high anywhere in New York. The only drawback in my mind is that the didn’t have a waitstaff (considering how large and open a space it is!). You have to do all your ordering at the counter, and you get paper plates, plastic cups, and no ice. That all could be a lot better, but it’s still amazing pizza.”
