“Only reason to come here is the food. The food was amazing! I dont know where they get there beef but it is some of the best beef I have had. Very clean. The only thing I would change is the service. The service was terrible, my husband tried to tell her his food was amazing and she ignored him, my drink sat empty most the time we were there, she even started removing plate and never once asked if I wanted a refill, she never asked if we wanted boxes we had to tell her, and over all was not very friendly. Maybe she was just having a bad day. We will go back I just hope next time service is better.”

“Being from down around the Columbus, Ohio area where a great pizza place isn’t hard to find….I’ve been searching high & low for a “decent” pizza up here in NE Ohio, where I moved to 5 years ago. I have ordered pizza twice from this place very recently, and I think I’ve finally found the great pizza I’ve been so desperately seeking! I drive about 35 minutes from my house to pick it up, and toss back in the oven when I get home to get it hot again, which leads me to the one real downfall I would mention, which is they do not put any cardboard under it, so lifting an entire pizza out of the box to put on a pan back in the oven can be a pain. I really wish they would consider placing a cardboard piece under it. The only other thing is you have to buy sauce separately for breadsticks, which they don’t do where I’m from. Overall, I’m very happy, staff is always super friendly and professional, great service thus far!”

“Wow! What a gem! We stopped here on our way back home after camping in Toledo. With 4 adults and 3 dogs fresh from the woods, we were looking for a low-key place to grab lunch. We thought this would be a little dive bar. Boy, we're we wrong. What we found was a laid back atmosphere and insanely friendly service. As a vegetarian, I didn't expect to have many options on the menu (that's par for the course when it comes to bar food). I had the most amazing grilled cheese, and there were several options for me to choose from. Everyone loved their food, and we loved the huge draft selection as well. This place has everything!”

“Firehouse subs or BiBi-bop, the predicament everyone comes to when they park in the parking lot of cornerstone. Me and my associate Brooks also ran into the predicament and we flipped a coin and landed on firehouse subs. When walking in we were quickly greeted with a welcome to firehouse and immediately felt welcomed and were comfortable ordering our food. The menu was easy to read and I ordered the club on the sub with wheat bread and no mayo. I wasn’t disappointed at all with my sub and was extremely satisfied (10/10 sub). The pickle also didn’t disappoint and It complimented the sub well. Although I didn’t order any chips I was pleased to see a wide variety of chips. Now for the cleanliness. When I sat down I found my self cleaning off the crumbs from the morning rush and the floor was noticeably dirty from afar. Meaning I would have appreciated to see an employee notice this but although it was dirty my overall experience wasn’t too impacted by this and if I could I would have given this place a 4.5 / 5 star rating but I can only choose from 4 and 5 stars. “Great place, first time I've been here. Good food for the price you are paying. I got a regular chili dog with cheese on it. It was very tasty but a little messy. “What a pleasant surprise! I haven’t been to Hunan Lake for a very long time because it was just an average take out place. I was just there and wow! The service was very fast, and the food...a complete difference from what I remember. The fried rice had many ingredients which you can see! My daughter got the pork fried rice and she commented on how much pork there was throughout. I’m not sure if there are new owners, but I tell you what...it has completely changed! I’ve tried many of the local Chinese restaurants, and in my opinion, Hunan Lake is my favorite! No complaints what so ever. Try them out!”

Our favorite dishes are the Drunken Noodles and the Panang Curry. I would highly recommend the Thai Dumplings for an appetizer—their homemade sesame garlic soy sauce has a bit of sweetness to it and is a perfect compliment. The service we’ve received has been excellent—always friendly and attentive. Additionally, we’ve found the restaurant to be clean and different from many other Asian establishments we’ve visited. It has a more modern feel; typical kitsch and color schemes won’t be found here. So easy to enjoy a good meal here!”
