“Good food with nice and calm interior. We happen to go for dinner on week day. It is a decent and clean place. If you are looking for good tasty Mexican food than this is the spot. Fondue with shrimp and mushroom in the appetizer was amazingly delicious. The main course in seafood which we ordered came with grilled scallops and shrimp over the bed of rice was delicious. The dish had generous amount of scallops and shrimps in it. Their home made nacho chips came warm and fresh. The place need a little more bright light and the bar place to be lit up as well. Overall very nice place to come to eat with family and children.”

“We were at Massey’s yesterday. As always, the order-in food is amazing. The delivery is good but little beats a hot Massey’s pizza right out of the oven. I also ordered and received the best Italian sub I have ever had. We the wings as well and were super impressed with the quality of the chicken. Not of this compels me to take the time to write a review though… what was special was that this is a family-run location and they clearly understood we were there as a family and they treated us with exceptional care and gratitude to share food with the customers they truly value. They interacted with our kids and even gave them coloring pages that they could hang up after lunch. It was such a fun experience with great food and caring. Thank you Massey’s of Delaware!”

“I have thee 35 year old outside faucets that were leaking at the stem. I was hoping to replace the packing but the whole inside down to the stem washer were corroded. Replacing the whole faucet would have required getting into the wall. I tried two other places without success. Within 60 seconds Van Marcke had replacement facets for me with inside parts that worked for the ones at my house. I was so happy!”

They don't take reservations or even call ahead seating and with the limited seating it really makes it hard to plan an evening out. The is the main reason we don't eat here more. Our time is valuable. This is a once or twice a year thing for us since we usually have our evenings planned out. This would be a 6 times a year place for us if they had reservations or simply had call ahead seating which is pretty much the norm now. There are lots of other places just as good that offer these conveniences. Food is great. Bake shop is great. Butcher shop is great. Customer convenience/ experience is below average.”
