Montessori is a clear and effective antidote to the problems associated with traditional education, and this school in particular provides a kind and nurturing environment for children to grow and learn in according to their own interests and individual capacities, not the dictates of high pressure testing and relentless progress through curriculum that has little relationship to what is age appropriate for children. The school is a full member of the American Montessori Society, which speaks to the high degree of fidelity to the Montessori philosophy, method and materials that is so clearly evident at the school.
