“We live in one of 4 apartments located on the property at the West end of the nursing facilities. My mother worked at the home for 13yrs or so and was living here when I got sick. So she took me, and my son in. I was diagnosed with MS on June 3rd, 2022, as well as White Matter Disease, and was told I was terminal with 4mo to 4 years to live. Life as I knew it ceased to exist, and I fell into a world of disbelief and depression with a little bit of anger and anxiety mixed in. Yep, I'm pretty much a mess most days, but I try to hide it from my mom and son. I've always been the strong one in the family, the leader one might say.
