(June 21, 2021, 9:58 pm)I met Wanda a few years ago because I wanted to get a long-arm quilting machine. She took a lot of time and I bought a handi-quilter machine with pro stitcher. She got me started and I completed over 50 quilts the first year I had the machine. She spent time training but the best part is I feel I have gained a friend. She still either answers when I call with questions or gives me a call back and is always always willing to go over and above to help me solve any issues I may have. So glad I found Sweet Pea's and Wanda.

Wanda is the owner of a quilt shop jam packed with beautiful fabrics, thread, precuts, notions...well absolutely everything you need to make quilts. This includes the complete line of Handi Quilter machines. She is a master quilter and service/repair technician with a smile. Wanda knows the machines inside and out, through and through. She teaches her clients (me!) to be a confident quilter and a competent steward of this magnificent machine. Thank you Wanda - I have your number on speed dial!
(July 31, 2015, 5:32 pm)Country store atmosphere, with antiques for display shelving. Friendly faces. Fat quarters are hung in hanks, like handkerchiefs. Brown paper cardstock tags add to theme n decore. Fair price. Large selection of 1930's feedsack prints, n civil war prints. Accessories, batting, all the extras. Walnut shells in quart sized bags only $5! Wished I'd bought one! Clearance fabric, $7, $8-ish. Clean. Slim batik selection. Worth your time!
(January 10, 2014, 11:29 am)This quilting store has it all. Knowledgeable and experienced staff, huge inventory, great location, and frequently scheduled classes. I am so proud of my quilt! But what I really appreciate is how much I learned and the friends I made :)
