“Kind owners, brand new laundry facility, fabulous park for kids of all ages (w canopy!) 3 min away, easy access to any store/restaurant w/in 3 miles, good price, dog friendly, pool (still closed for the season during our stay), big dog park w trees everywhere, biking trails adjacent that our teens could use, located on small side street off main connecting road, accessible staff, huge old trees all over. Spaces were small but we didn't want a resort, just a home base. Easy extra parking immediately across from camper. We were quite happy spending the week here! Come check 'em out for yourself!”

“Okmulgee community garden is one of the best things that has been going on for okmulgee! A bed is chosen, and then that individual can pick whatever veg/fruit they want to grow. I use my bed year round. Water is free! And so are seeds, if they have any available.”

“Love the location, the atmosphere, and the owners. It's a community, not just a campground. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. There is a playhouse and play area for the children, a shaded pond with a bridge, and a gathering tree for events on hit nights. All the amenities needed to feel at home!”

“We stayed here in July of 2022 while we were enjoying WoodyFest. The place is beautiful. The spots are right on the lake/pond and there was a nice breeze coming over the water that provided some cool evenings in spite of very hot days. The owner was friendly, the checkin was easy, and the price was great. There are not any sewer connections down by the lake but the 25 dollar per night price can't be beat. We were in between two campers that weren't occupied during the week we were there and so the privacy was exquisite. We enjoyed the stay and would love to stay there again. We would also recommend this place without hesitation.”

“It was a really awesome experience. It cost $7 to get into the butterfly area. They sent my kids on a small scavenger hunt and gave them a prize at the end. Toward the end of us walking around a lady outside that was tending the gardens and whatnot took us around showing us the whole area. She told us a ton of info on butterflies and gave us some bell peppers grown on the premises. There's also a small gift shop up front but we didn't spend any money there. I recommend it though because they had some very cool little items in there, especially for people out of town as keepsakes.”

“I love this trail. It’s kind of noisy with the Creek Turnpike traffic so close but with a set of headphones and a podcast... it’s pretty amazing. You can get in a 4 mile run out and back without crossing any traffic by parking at Elm street lot where the city of Broken Arrow have a well lit lot with a nice restroom and bike tool rack... just head east on the trail until you reach County Line Rd then turn and come back. The trail goes underneath the Lynn Lane overpass.”

“A very soothing neighborhood park where you can run, walk, practice yoga on the green grass, or sit with your friends inside the gazebo. I visited the place after a winter storm, and many trees’ branches were blocking the cement trails. Some citizens took care of the matter, but the city should definitely come along and clean up. Two nice kids used all those fallen branches to create a fun hideout. This park is inspiring.”

“The Christmas lights were so well curated. The lights were placed around the lake making a Christmas scavenger hunt with fun characters. There was some parking in the park, yet lots after driving through in the residential area. The traffic to see the lights was bumper to bumper, yet the lights were totally worth it. Beautifully curated and really fun for the family. The bridge was my highlight.”

“Enjoyed fishing here. It has new rocks on the dam. It has 2 uncovered fishing docks and a covered fishing dock you can fish at for a fee. There are many places to fish and some nice trails. There is a splash pad.”

“It’s a beautiful park all times during the year. Early spring it’s full of beautiful azaleas and other beautiful flowers throughout the summer. Lovely pond to walk around. Lots of steps to walk from topside of the park to the bottom for a great workout. At Christmas time it has a gorgeous drive through to see thousands of lights for a small donation.”

“Nice neighborhood park with open fields and a small lake with ducks. Park looks like it is maintained and grass has been trimmed. The lake has a sign that the lake is private and for residents only. Looks like fishing is allowed if you are a resident.”

“We love this place. Great for a relaxing afternoon or evening. If you fish, expect to lose some tackle, though. There is a beautiful view of the lake on the walking trail. Has a camp ground, and picnic areas. The dock is nice for fishing. It is busy on the weekends sometimes, but still a great place to take the family. So peaceful when you get a place out in the middle of nowhere and just sit and fish.”

“New playground, great ball fields. Covered pavilion with picnic tables. You cannot venture into grassy areas due to excess stickers. If not for the stickers I would give it a 5 star rating.”

“I really like veterans park. The playgrounds are large and various sizes for various ages, fishing pond, skate park and workout trail! Everything is spaced out, which is also nice. A few drawbacks: while the skate park is awesome and huge, it gets really crowded. Sometimes it's hard to do much. Also, this park would be absolutely amazing with a splash pad. In the summer sometimes it's just too hot to go without a way to cool off (but it would probably always be packed then). Lastly, the last time I used the bathrooms, they didn't have doors on the stalls. Hoping that's been fixed because it's a little weird.”

“My two dogs absolutely LOVE this park. We live in Corpus but drive over here once a week because it's so nice. Both areas are very spacious and well covered in grass so it doesn't get muddy like some other local places. They have a few fun agility items and they have some covered seating, unlike a lot of other dog parks I've been to in the area. My dogs always leave tired!”

“It was a great school trip. The zoo is doing remodeling so there was a lot of construction that was going on. The animals that were there were awesome to see. The kids and everyone there had a great time, and can't wait to see what new exhibits will come. The zoo was also setting up the lights for Halloween, which was really cool to see as well.”

“Small park, limited parking, but pretty nice. Has a few of ea picnic tables, benches, & swings. Also a rock climb, play- set and slide. Several pecan trees. No sign of yellow jackets. All the other parks within 1 mile are either closed, not really parks, or have people sleeping on the benches.”

“Nice park. My son loves it! Big soccer field. The playground equipment isn't as nice as the other park we go to but that park doesn't have as much space. Love that there is a working water fountain and basketball court.”
