“Great place for local folks to spend a day swimming, picnicking, hanging out and relaxing. I wouldn’t recommend it as a “tourist destination” but a great place to spend time if you’re already local. There’s tons of shady trees around the picnic area, but little tree coverage around the rest of the park. This is a day-use area only, and a fee area. It gets quite crowded on summer afternoons, but you’re able to spread out well enough. It’s not the cleanest beach, but certainly not the worst. The restrooms leave a lot to be desired but are functional. The picnic area feels like a full typical campground vibe without the campsites. Cement benches, grills and small campfire pits. Tons of great trees to hang hammocks, and it generally stays a little cooler thanks to the lake being on either side of you.”

My food is always fast and fresh but asking for light ice was a total miss and it was almost as if I got extra ice in my drink. They always get the sauces right though which is the most important part and the store has outdoor seating with umbrellas which is nice this time of year!”

“The customer service was excellent. Everyone we interacted with was so friendly, nice and helpful. The room was large and we loved having the kitchenette. One of my favorite things was that they had large towels. Normally hotel towels are tiny but these were more like bath sheets! The beds and pillows were also very comfortable. The cons I have are minor. I hate showers that don't have detachable shower heads. I just feel cleaner with one when I can directly spray all my bits! Also seems like it would be easier to clean the shower when it detaches too. This is common in most hotels, I just wish it wasn't. Also the bedroom door is cute and adds to the charm but has a big glass panel in it. While you can't see through it, it does let light in the room. Also, I do travel solo and while I wasn't alone on this trip I would prefer a solid door for safety reasons. Parking is about a block away. I was fine with that and with some large parking lots you end up walking that far anyway, but it would be something to note for anyone with mobility concerns. I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.”

“My kiddos, my husband, and I love going to 7 Clans. We always stay at the hotel when we go. We swim twice during our stay- The first night we get there and then the next morning. Breakfast buffet is free with your stay. Very good and lots of options. The water park is clean and perfect for all ages. That arcade is pretty great too! The rooms are clean and spacious! We always get the room that has two bedrooms. Or one room plus an open area with another bed. The kids can go to bed at a good time, and my husband and I can stay up and watch a movie. When you walk in, it does have a hint of smoke, but the rooms do not! We've been 5 times and it never disappoints!”

“Hidden gem in Blanchard!! If you want fresh and healthy in a small town, this place is a winner.🏆 Great vegetarian options and their staff is super friendly. Loved the whole Tex-Mex vibe in the decor. Their burritos are delicious 😋🤤 and we tried all their salsas (their verde is my personal favorite). We had more food than we could eat at a very reasonable. We will be back VERY soon! ❤️”
