(September 8, 2020, 10:29 pm)This park has everything! Salmon and steelhead fishing, a very fine RC track, boat ramp, gigantic grassy areas for picnicking , frisby, trails, BMX track and friendly people!

(August 24, 2020, 2:35 pm)One of my favorite parks on the Willamette River. Round rock beach, I would recommend to anyone who plans on visiting here to bring water shoes or tennis shoes because the beach will shift under your feet and I can Tell you from experience that it's not a soft landing. The boat ramp and shallow grade means there will be tons of jetskis and ski boats making wake but they put on a heck of a show. Beach Patrol is pretty stringent so its not a party destination. Great for families and people looking to take a dip in the water.
(July 29, 2020, 12:08 am)This is the only park in the city that has enough room to play baseball football soccer. Even has a playground for all ages. Motocross track that's cool. Boat launch and plenty of parking.. enjoy and on these hot summer days drink lots of water..

City closes boat dock to public; walking access still allowed for nearby citizens. Large public gatherings and other health hazards have led Gladstone officials to close Medrum Bar Park to vehicles. On April 8 until further notice, concrete barricades will be placed across River Road Drive.
