“Jenny and her husband have come a couple of times to clean now, and they are the most warm and caring people you could ask for, and the house looks amazing! The first time I had the house deep-cleaned prior to a surgery (nesting I suppose?) and they not only did a great job, they followed up with me after my surgery with a text that they hoped all had gone well and they were praying for me. “We recorded five songs at Stray Pines this summer and we had a great experience: Chris has an easygoing studio manner, excellent ears, deep reserves of patience, and is a well of good ideas without being overbearing. We loved the space too - the barn is an amazing place to do creative work in, with lots of interesting instruments tucked into the corners that end up finding their way onto whatever tunes you're working on. But wherever Chris hangs his hat in the future, he's going to do good work. Highly recommended!”

“The lovely woman who waitresses here is so kind and compassionate. She really sets the tone for this place. We come back again and again for the great food, but also for the fantastic service and attitude of this one woman. I hope the owners appreciate her and compensate her accordingly. The vegetables are always fresh and perfectly cooked. The meat tastes to be of high quality and is consistently cooked to perfection. Even when I live in NE Portland, I would make the drive to West Linn just to eat this food. We look forward to being able to dine in house again soon. For now, we will continue to support this GREAT Chinese food with take out service.”
