Probably my favorite meal in Portland! They have a small and very fresh menu - it was obvious they take great care in creating seasonal crafted dishes. It's a place I could visit over and over again since the menu changes! I was lucky enough to have a beautiful tuna tartare, followed by one of their "vegetable dishes." I think it was called tomatoes, but really it was this gorgeous fresh salad of tomatoes, peaches, plums on top of a basil ricotta cream. Divine! Then I had the steak and they were kind enough to change the sides since I'm not a fan of peppers and that was the original side. it was cooked to perfection and arranged like art.

We had dinner at Dame/Estes last night, with their NW Italian menu. The asparagus was seared perfectly, and served with prosciutto. Their rabbit dish with cavatelli was the best rabbit dish I have eaten, here or in Europe. The rabbit was braised, served boneless and delicious! The cavatelli was like gnocchi.

Best burger I’ve had in years. Also their wine shop is excellent. We’ve experienced only great service from both.

Such a joy to drink wine and eat brunch on Dame’s sunny patio! Delicious food, great wine selection, excellent service. Learned they are opening an outdoor wine bar in a re-deco’d shipping container in the back. Can’t wait to come back!
