Beautiful trail that will go in a loop with a distance of 30 to 40 miles long. Make sure to keep your dogs on a leash as there are coyotes running rapid throughout the hills, as well as other wildlife.
The trailhead is a great place to start your hike in the middle of Forest Park. The trails in this area can be steep, so bring shoes with good traction, and avoid if you have knee/ankle issues. This trailhead does get you down to the Wildwood trail, but it’s a real hike to get to it. A trash can is available at the trailhead, but after that you’re in the woods with no other amenities.
Easy hike with more difficult options available, great pet-friendly location. I got some amazing pictures while on the trail!
Really easy really beautiful hike through the woods.
Simply gorgeous and just minutes away from downtown. What a gem! Local joggers galore, but all so friendly!
