“This place has amazing food! Tried the yucca fries and they were perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, dipped in a delicious sauce. I ordered the Fried Fish Tacos because I saw the word "habanero". The freshness of the batter mixed with the crunchiness of the cabbage was seriously a party in my mouth. I could have done with a little more spiciness but I do carry my own hot sauce in my bag, swag. I like that it's a dedicated gluten-free restaurant. It makes it easier to enjoy meals with friends that need to be conscious of those things.”

I like that they sing hymns and have an organist and choir. (as a classically trained choral musician, that kind of music speaks to me.) “We recently got to work with Brendan again, this is our second time, and just like the first time he was absolutely amazing. His work is outstanding, and he’s an excellent communicator and teacher. He’s always willing to show us what he’s doing or teach us something even if it’s unrelated to the job at hand. This time he was doing the stairs, but on a lark we asked some insulation questions and the next day he brought over a bunch of insulation kit, showed us how to use it, installed it, and because he knows we’re very price conscious, he offered and then instructed us on exactly how to clean up and close up the walls so he could get back to the real project. We’ve learned a lot from him and visitors pretty much always comment about how cool his projects are. He thinks about things differently and is willing to break the mold to make a solution that really works for you. In our first project we asked him to build in a cat litter area with an outside vent and a super quiet bathroom fan; I can’t imagine many contractors that would do such a weird thing, but it has been a life changer and he never batted an eye. He just joined in on the brainstorming and made the idea even cooler by making it two story and adding a little spiral staircase! This is our second time with him, so I can say with certainty that we will be calling on him again for our next projects.”

“Great service, delivers great organic produce right to your door, and it is very easy to customize how often you receive deliveries on the website. The model requires that you purchase a bin of what’s available that week, but the bins come In several different sizes and configurations and you can specify vegetables you don’t like (e.g., beets) which will be replaced which something else when they come up. Another great thing about this service is that it’s very easy to cancel it and come back to it any time you want a bin. Just check a box and click save. I go through periods where I don’t use it at all and other times I get a small bin biweekly or weekly, depending on how into I am to cooking or am willing to improvise with what’s available that week. We find a small bin is perfect for two people.”
