“We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. They updated the furniture and the beds were very comfortable and clean. There was a microwave and a goid size refrigerator, in our room, plus they offered a wonderful breakfast. Pancakes, sausage (pork and turkey), eggs, cold and hot cereal, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and they're wonderful, hot cinnamon rolls. The only drawback was the drainage was very poor in our room. The sink did not drain well at all. I accidentally left my laptop in the room, but the staff was so generous. They called me and locked it up until I came back to get it! We will definitely stay there again!”

“Pretty much a terrible experience here. Got a confirmation email and when we arrived at the park, there were after hour check in maps. We did not have one nor did the woman who was checking in at the same time. She just found an empty site and used that. We also found a site that was empty and not on the late check in list. Alas, someone came along two hours later and had a confirmation for that site. They had a check in email. I never received that.. Tried to call every number listed anywhere. No answers. Tried the emergency call button at the office.. That went no where. Please find better help or have another staff member on call. This is a nice park with tons of spaces and people. I spoke to two other people with bad experiences that same day.”

“I have stayed at this motel four times and every time they provide consistent high quality service. The staff is very friendly and the price is right. As a contractor, I like to keep expenses low and value high. I recommend this Red Roof location over others in the area. They always accommodate any requests I have such as a refrigerator or a first floor room.”

“Beautiful. Did not stop long but did dip in the water (in late May) which was cold but it is the Northwest after all. Picturesque park. Great for families taking a day trip. I do not think they offer camping here from a sign I saw but I could be wrong. Go see this pretty place.”

“Northstar is one of the best ski resorts in Tahoe. Great skiing and snowboarding for all skill levels. Lots of groomers, good tree runs, a slew of terrain parks for beginners to experts, and the backside is fantastic on powder days... but the real reason for this review is the excellent customer service. I lost my wallet this weekend and Bryan from Lost and Found was extremely helpful. Once my wallet was located, Bryan gave me a call to let me know and confirm my address. My wallet was then priority shipped to me the next day free of charge. Amazing!! I am extremely grateful. Thanks North Star for another phenomenal season. I will certainly be renewing my season pass next year.”

“UPDATE! 8/27/2020 - Back to a strong 5 stars! Things just cost more everywhere! What you can’t get everywhere is top notch management. This place has it! Very effective communication, friendly and trustworthy reps. Been living full time here since the Covid-19 started. Which, BTW, was well handled by the staff. Always feel safe. Planes are pretty much gone for now. Great neighbors. Live is good. One of my all-time favorite PNW RV parks. Great location, excellent staff. Very clean well maintained restrooms and laundry facility. Rates are comparable to better than other area parks. Centrally located near PDX airport but not in landing path, quite evenings. Highly recommended! UPDATE 8/2017: Pricing, at all levels, went up. Priced me out of the park. On top of “no Kid park/playground” makes me reevaluate my review and stars. From a 5 to a 3 for reasons as noted.”

“This hotel is actually a very nice, clean and quaint little place to stay within the city limits to where I typically would be spending the majority of my time in. Very clean and nicely conditioned like everything considering its a newer hotel among those that also reside within this area but this one seems more in my budget and offers a much more convenient stay like for those who maybe dont have a working vehicle at this time well that's nothing to worry about, they offer trimet max service not even a block away from the hotel as well as information on other trimet bus schedules and routes. The continental breakfast is also a nice touch to add to your guests that I'm beginning to notice doesnt really matter at this current weird and messed up time we find ourselves in nowadays with the whole covid 19 stuff happening. All in all I do approve ans highly recommend for others to stay here if they ever are in need of a nice and accommodating hotel.”

“Reasonable price for a very nice room. My room was clean and quiet, very spacious. All staff I encountered were courteous and helpful. While there was no breakfast buffet due to COVID19, the desk clerk offered me a decent choice of items in a "Go Bag" that worked just fine for my morning meal. There is also a Shari's Restaurant directly across the street. I would definitely stay at this Clarion Hotel in Portland again.”

The newly renovated rooms are nice, but the best thing about this place, other than it’s location, is the bed. The mattresses are so much nicer than even places that rank 2-3 stars more than this place. I have stayed more than a few nights and always wake up completely refreshed. The couple that own and run this place need to be commended for knowing what to focus on to provide the best nights sleep to their guests for an amazingly low price.”

“If you have any issues, make sure you as a patron give management time to fix them, should any arise. I’ll share a little more below. My stay here was quite nice. We had noisy neighbors, but the staff was able to find the guests that brought those people in and charged them accordingly (at least that was what I was told). The housekeeping staff was the absolute best here, I think THE absolute best around this area (this is after staying at about five different hotels in the last two months.) I would recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a room of the cleaner variety. The property is pretty clean. I was so relieved to see that the surrounding properties and property itself did not have any needles or broken glass anywhere.”
