“This place has amazing food! Tried the yucca fries and they were perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, dipped in a delicious sauce. I ordered the Fried Fish Tacos because I saw the word "habanero". The freshness of the batter mixed with the crunchiness of the cabbage was seriously a party in my mouth. I could have done with a little more spiciness but I do carry my own hot sauce in my bag, swag. I like that it's a dedicated gluten-free restaurant. It makes it easier to enjoy meals with friends that need to be conscious of those things.”

“This is one of the better spots in Portland to have a nice dinner amongst the limitations of the pandemic. The outdoor seating is comfortable and spacious. The food is great. However, the service is what truly impressed me. I was helped by two people and they made sure I was taken care of, with great suggestions and a genuine attitude. “Strolling around the area and stopped in here for a bite to eat. Staff was great. Food was tasty. Space was clean. We got burgers and they were cooked to our perfect level of medium-well. We sat out on the patio and had a few rounds of beers. The selection is decent and the server was regularly checking in with us. The Avocado Bacon Burger was exactly what I was craving and it hit the spot. The vibe, food, and service were quite enjoyable. This place is now bookmarked on my map. If you like a chill spot to eat and just hang for a bit with some friends, this is a great place for exactly that. Only downside: it’s next to a motorcycle shop, so every once in a while you’ll hear a motorcycle start up and make some noise.”

“Found this bakery after buying their bread at a huge Asian market. Loved seeing the same lady at both places, she was restocking and gave us her freshest bread. Been searching for a Cuban bread substitute since moving to Portland and their baguettes are wonderful, very light inside with a crunchy crust. We indulged in their sandwiches- highly recommend the bbq #2, pastries and of course baguettes. Love this bakery!”

I lost my wallet this weekend and Bryan from Lost and Found was extremely helpful. Once my wallet was located, Bryan gave me a call to let me know and confirm my address. My wallet was then priority shipped to me the next day free of charge. Amazing!! I am extremely grateful. Thanks North Star for another phenomenal season. I will certainly be renewing my season pass next year.”
