Beautiful fall day to enjoy well marked trails, and we and the public very thoughtfully wore masks, kept our distance, as signs also reminded us, while walking or jogging. We saw several seniors enjoying the trail as well as younger families. We had a wonderful stretch of the legs on the Vine Maple Trail. So very fortunate to have such a large, well planned, wooded recreation area close to home!
Came here for an evening stroll to get some fresh air. What a gorgeous spot. Lots of different paths to take (pay attention because it's a little easy to get lost). Beautiful scenery. Saw two deer up close as well as an owl. Be alert for wildlife.
One of the best nature trails in the Portland metro area. Many trails have been converted to one way, allowing for social distancing. The public restrooms are closed due to the Covid crisis. There is a lot of parking, and a lot of people use the trails. It was a little too crowded for my taste, people talking on their phones and riding bikes, but it was a Sunday afternoon. Perhaps other days would have fewer people.
Love this place. We have been here for a hike and visit the visitor center about 5 times. We still can not believe there is such a lovely forested area with all the wildlife right off of TV Highway. The paths are all wide, well groomed and either paved, dirt or decking. Highly recommended.
Nice natural Oasis in Beaverton. I've lived in Portland all my life and this was my first time here. It was a little busy but everyone was pretty good about social distancing and wearing masks. We saw herons and yellow throat birds. Some of the dirt side trail looks are one way traffic for social distancing because those trails are much more narrow. We had a nice relaxing walk.
