STEMsteps Preschool & Kindergarten

We are consistently impressed by our son's experience at STEMsteps. The hands-on, experienced based learning that is promoted allows for our son to visualize and conceptualize what is being taught to him. The staff, specifically Heather and Gabby, are tremendous and truly dedicated to each student. They work to make each student, and family, part of the STEMsteps family. It has been a privilege to have our son attend STEMsteps and watch the school grow.

We are so happy with our decision to enroll our son at STEMsteps. He is 3.5yrs old and we got him started in March of this year. With 2 months under his belt, we can see how much he loves being at school and the excitement he has about learning. There are always hands-on activities to keep the kids engaged, and the topics that are covered are really great. A few weeks ago, they learned about and experienced all the life stages of a butterfly as it happened in front of them. This week they incubated and witnessed the hatching of chicks. They have indoor and outdoor gardens that they use to help promote farm to table.

The app that the school uses is really great as well, it allows you to keep all communications and alerts in one place, including sometimes daily photos of the kids actively in learning. It's nice to get those updates throughout the day on your child. I would absolutely recommend calling and scheduling a time to tour, because it's quite impressive and seeing it in person really sealed the deal for us. We are very thankful we chose STEMsteps! Awesome school! Recommend highly. Our daughter loves it, has learned a lot since she started going. Focus on science, tech, engineering and math. This school is very life-based and centered on community learning as well. The kids recently built and played in their own flower shop. The kids have jobs, learn yoga, jump on trampolines, work with interactive play-based programs, etc....

STEMsteps offers a unique education for your child. Our staff is highly qualified and experienced with every type of learner. The children are positively reinforced and are excited to come to school. We incorporate science, technology, engineering, and math with the latest technology. The students help with the indoor/outdoor organic gardens and learn about protecting the planet. Our curriculum is designed to be hands on and engage them in cooperative learning.

STEMsteps is an early learning center focused on teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math through Student-Teacher Empowering Partnerships. Art and Music instruction are also an integral part of learning at STEMsteps. Project based learning activities and student interests guide instructional activities that develop early learners critical thinking skills. Students explore how to be curious, flexible, collaborative, and persistent in design and thinking.
