Genesis Medical Associates: Heyl Family Practice – West View

Just had my first visit and I already know I’m going to be telling every single one of my friends and family to switch to this practice. I’m just realizing now how lacking my past pcp had been based on how above and beyond this office visit was. From Sharon at the front desk, to Amanda who did my intake, to Dr. Scott Heyl himself…I seriously can’t rave enough. They listen, they have empathy, and they seem passionate about what they do. Dr. Scott was so comforting and knowledgeable, I had no problem opening up to him, which is something I’ve struggled with doctors in the past. Maybe it makes me seem like a weirdo to leave such a glowing review of a doctors office, but I think it’s important to give credit when people are just really really good at their jobs. Thank you again!

Dr. Heyl and staff is the best! I have been to numerous PCP’s over the years and never felt fully confident in the care. Dr. Lou Heyl really listens and spends time explaining things in clear terms. He and his staff are always pleasant. I would highly recommend this group if you are looking for a change.

Dr. Scott Heyl is the most amazing physician that I have encountered in quite a long time. He takes the time to listen, no matter how long it takes, and always asks my opinions on how I feel his plan with treatment sounds before moving forward. A very warm and comfortable family practice with decades of experience (my husband has been coming here all his life and his parents before him). Easy to work with, book with and to get whatever referrals you need, whether for higher priority short term care or for your longer term health goals. This practice has a home like/ family like feeling. I switched to this practice about two years ago. This is one of the best practices I have been to in along time. Doctors listens and are very understanding of concerns and takes each concern I have seriously. I would recommended this practice to anyone who loves a genuine family feeling.
