Contrary to some reviews I have zero complaints about Holiday Park Apartments. Lived in one of their smaller townhouses for some time before moving to a more “luxurious” townhouse across 286 & have been here for almost two years.

The office folks are always incredibly attentive & polite whenever I call, plus the maintenance guys are very well qualified & just some great dudes overall. My dishwasher stopped working, they replaced it next day. One of my hardwired smoke detectors chirped itself to death (I’m not a great cook)- replaced next day. Any issues I have are immediately rectified. Can’t say that about anywhere else I’ve lived.

I didn’t get to take advantage of the free year of YMCA because I moved in during COVID & the Y was closed, but that’s a serious savings at ~$60/m. Also a slight discount (~$25/m) for a year if you work for a few specific local employers. I haven’t seen many bugs apart from stink bugs & a lone centipede that lives in my basement. I named him Sebastian, centipedes are good bugs. The yearly rent increases have thus far been negligible. Sewer/trash pickup (bins not dumpsters) is included in the rent as well. They recently totally overhauled the “Residents” portal & allow/encourage online rent payments, no longer compelled to write/drop off monthly checks.

My neighbors are great, not sure if it’s stellar insulation between townhouses (the concrete block firewall behind the drywall helps) or if they’re just quiet people but my one neighbor has a few kids and I rarely hear anything at all + total silence from the other neighbor. A few barking dogs across the complex occasionally but dogs will be dogs, can’t complain.

I can’t believe I’m mentioning landscaping, but here we are. They’re frequently cutting grass, cleaning up the front “yards”, clearing leaves from roofs/gutters, mowing the backyard spaces etc. They even set up a ladder & blew the leaves off my deck after clearing them from the roof, then picked them up. Top tier.

The main reason I’m leaving a review is because I’ve been apartment hunting in the north hills & all I’ve found are terrible reviews of “luxury” apartments. “Luxury” 40 miles north is $1500 for a 1bed1bath complex with 50, 1 star reviews. No thanks, I’ll continue living here for the same price + 1000sqft, fireplace, backyard, in-unit full-size (not stacked) rented washer/dryer& a garage instead.

2022 Edit: Upon lease renewal they increased my rent by $200/month, I’m moving to a less expensive unit within the same management company. This was a fantastic townhouse for the price, no regrets.

Very nice townhome community seated so close to literally every major road. I lived here from July 2014 to June 2021. Renee and staff do a wonderful job to make sure that maintenance comes out timely when something breaks, lawn service, snow removal, fresh mulch yearly, trash pickup that is free, food trucks that is a relatively new little social perk, all nice things. I've heard new residents even get a free gym membership for a set amount of months. My two bedroom was plenty big enough for myself, my husband, and cat and ended at $965 with a $55 rate increase. Not too bad.
I had a psychiatric meltdown at the end when I was asked to remove my bird feeder which I have had since 2014 and immediately got preapproved for a house within 24 hours later. Ask a middle aged white girl to remove her bird feeder and we go a little crazy.

All in all: nice place to live and I will truly miss calling HP my home. Thank you for making me feel at home for so many years.

I have been at HP Apartments for over a year now. Townhouse was very clean when we moved in and we have had basically zero issues living here. Our fridge began leaking at one point and management just gave us a new and improved fridge. I got a complimentary carpet cleaning for renewing my lease and they installed two outlets for an extremely cheap price (compared to an electrician). The front office has always been efficient and communicates well. I have seen bad reviews regarding the ending of leases (which I have not experience yet). But until then, five stars from me!

We had been happily renting from Kim K in the office for years and this was no different when we followed her here! She showed us a nice place that we had been in for almost 4 years. We had very little maintenance issues and the small ones we had were fixed and addressed promptly. We have had great neighbors, even when old ones have moved out, great ones moved in. This was an amazing place to start a family and build a home. The only reason we left is because we got ourselfs a house! If your looking for a nice place for your family I highly recommend you go here and ask for Kim in the office!
