  look up don't stay at pa dutch campground in bernville pa on Facebook found many people scot powell did wrong in group. Go to Hamburg state police to file complaint. They need more people to come forward. The owner scot powell and his workers are not to be trusted

  I had reserved 2 campsites a couples of weeks prior to our visit and at that time I had given them my credit card to use for the 1 night deposit on each site. I had reserved the sites for Monday and Tuesday nights, it wasn't like on a weekend they weren't busy. We travel in a 40 and 41 ft. motorhomes, when we arrived Monday we were given 2 of the worst, unlevel campsites in the campground. They were located on a hillside, you couldn't get level front to back or side to side. They also were almost long enough for our motorhomes. Why I titled this "Unaccommodating" is because like I say they weren't busy, had a lot of empty sites for the period we were there that were level and easy to get in. I also was suprised to find that they had hit my credit card for the rest of the stay on Sunday before we arrived. I've been camping for years and I've never had a campground do that. Every other campground I've ever stayed in would take the rest of the payment when we arrive and checkin. There cancellation policy says "Deposit forfeited: Last minute cancellation, no-shows, inclement weather or Personal reasons" Notice it says "DEPOSIT FORTEITED" so why did they take the rest of the money before I got there. Was hoping this was going to work out because we will be going back to that area, but NOT THIS CAMPGROUND. Never again sooner pay more and get better treatment.

  Needed a long term spot in the fall. Got an inexpensive spot here for a month... Management and staff are friendly and competent. More permanent sites than most parks we’ve stayed at....

  Nice quiet place. Spacious sites, full hookups, great rates. Has pool with concessions, mini golf, arcade, inside movies with popcorn, small store, restaurant, walking trails, playground, bathhouse, cable, and plenty of road to ride your bike. Allows gas powered golf carts. Owner is great along with other workers and full-timers. I have no complaints. Love it here!
