  I found this campground 4 years ago and camped here because it was close to the county fair. I have come back every year since. The Staff is great- helpful, accommodating, and always pleasant. My family and I have stayed using the 4 weekend only package so we are not permanent campers. None the less everyone has always been friendly and respectful of one another. This is a decent family oriented, well run, peaceful place to relax and enjoy life. (Even if it is only 4 to 6 weekends a summer) I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the special greeting campers get from Lilly the owner’s beautiful white Golden doodle. ...Truly this place is a Gem in the Mountains...
  This past year (2018) we got a permanent site. Loved every minute we could spend at the campground.
  It is late fall now and getting cold. Can't wait for the spring to return.
  Everyone has been so friendly, just a wonderful relaxed atmosphere.

  Used to go here every memorial day as a kid... Nice campground and the owners are very nice as well

  We camped here May 14th through the 17th. Loved this place. Very clean and well taken care of family campground.Very quiet. We had a bad storm while there and lost the awning on our travel trailer. The owners were extremely helpful in assisting us. We also ended up with a flat tire on our truck and again the owners came to our aid. We were very impressed and will definitely return.

  I have been a permanent camper for at least 9-10 years and been coming for at least 11yrs. This place is truly a place for not just young hip people but for the elderly as well as this campground will try to accommodate you and your tastes. The owners Dorrie and Clyde are some of the nicest people you will meet. That's why we have constant renewal with our seasonal to permanent campers, as well as tons of returning weekend warriors. Previous people who have said that they don't like the campground have probably been unpleasant themselves. if you have come here more than 10 years you should already know how things are and don't be surprised when people like to go fishing. there are more tent sites then just down at the pond. we have had tents on the hill. You could literally ask Dorrie or Clyde where else you could set up a tent and camp, or make a reservation. so get your fact strait before you open your mouth. because if cant prove your statement, or no one will care. exactly since will fill up just about every week rain or shine. thanks for reading.
