(November 8, 2018, 8:06 pm)We called Dowd Mechanical on Sunday night, October 29th when I noticed our oil furnace shut off. I left a message and on Monday morning I spoke with Diana. She set me up with Scott who stopped by at the end of the work day. He figured out what we needed and on Tuesday afternoon stopped by at the end of the day and installed the part. While there, he noticed another problem that needed fixing. He assessed the problem and came back the next day and fixed that problem, along with tightening up some loose wires..He did a tune-up on the unit and so far, it runs great. Scott was great, with a great knowledge of what he was doing....and very patient, even though it was more than planned.Diana in the office was great, but Scott was fantastic. He didn't even mind me watching him the whole time. You get what you pay for, and no corners were cut in the repairs made. I will have them back each year for a tune up

(October 17, 2018, 5:22 pm)We have used Dowd since last spring since we lost our old air & heating repairman. Last year we had an emergency on a Sunday & a friend said her neighbor used Dowd so I looked them up & decided to call them. They were very responsive & came out that day. After they fixed the problem, I asked about an annual contract. I got the information & a couple weeks later, called to set it up. Terrence was just here for my renewal checkup of the system & I have to say that they have been extremely honest, kind, thorough & go out of their way to help. The follow up is exceptional including Diane in the office. We are very pleased with Dowd & feel like we have known them for years. We are very happy we found such a good company to work with. Thank you all.

Only thing I ever hear from them is "we got it" and they do. Could not be happier and more trusting of the team that they know what they are doing every time and they will provide a solution without question. Highly recommend. Called them again this morning and Terrence is already booked to come out ASAP. Love the team at Dowd!
