“They are a weird side of the road kinda mixed up retailer of garden plants and reasonably priced used truck caps. Weird doesn't mean bad. It means odd and different. Staff is knowledgeable and accommodating. They do have a forklift to lift caps to truck bed for installation. FYI-They do not take amex.”

“Beautiful park, but holy hell. If you are hunting here, be prepared to work, alll of the bucks are bedded deep in the interior forest where thick fines and throny bushes lay. Otherwise beautiful park.”

“Went here for the 1st time on Veteran's Day since my children had off from school. We played on the playground equipment for a bit. Very nice for the younger ones. Our 11 yr old probably would've been bored if there were no swings but our 2 yr old and 6 yr old had great fun. The ground covering is wood chip but there are rubbers under the swings so they don't get mud pits under them which is a nice touch. We didn't use the pavilion, but in the summer I'm sure it sees a lot of use. We didn't use the basketball court either. There is a good amount of field, so we'll come back with a kickball and frisbee one day. No kites though, power lines run right along side of the playground. We also didn't walk down to the pond area, just not nice enough outside for it so. Dog poop pick-up bags were nicely provided nearby for convience and I wish we had thought to bring our pooch along. Nice place for younger kids, hope it's not too crowded in the summer - I need someplace where younger tots won't be run over by older children like what happens at the kids castle on Mill St.”

“Had our wedding at the Tinicum Park Barn and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. Charles is a breeze to work with and couldn't have been more helpful. I highly encourage anyone seeking out a venue for any sort of function to consider the barn. We look forward to holding many more special events here in the future.”

“If you're planning on going for a jog, it's either only uphill or downhill. There is a nice grass path that goes around the park, but that is also either uphill or downhill. It gets very steep in some parts.”

“My toddler loves this park. Lots of shade! Bring your sand toys and a lunch. We can never leave in under 3 hours. Bring water shoes to wade in the shallow creek.”

“Beautiful trails that are clearly marked. Educational placks throughout the preserve. A little rocky so watch your step but overall very peaceful. ***PLEASE BE AWARE*** The parking for Manderfield preserve is NOT on Cedar Hollow Rd. Parking is off of Allentown Road near the one lane bridge. Thank you.”

“Kids had a great time hitting the rocks with a hammer and hearing the different ringing tones. Definitely wear comfy clothes and shoes and be careful by the falls if there was recent snow or rain because it was slippery in this area. A bit of a workout climbing the boulders and there are snakes in the area.”

“I attend a scrapbooking group here that meets the 2nd Saturday of every month. This is a great place for borough residents to rent for parties or other events. A real bargain at $30 for the day, very large room includes several 6 foot tables, chairs, refrigerator, oven, microwave, sink and bathroom.”

“Had a really nice first experience here. The camp site was clean and spacious. I like that all sites come with a fire pit and picnic table. The pool is well kept and clean. The kids loves the slide and diving board! Playground is new and safe for play. Also did ping pong and basketball. The office staff is very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely come here again.”

“We have been going for two years now and love this place. It's not fancy but the bathrooms are clean and the people are nice. There are activities for the kids pretty much every day. Store prices are good too, not crazy high like some places.”

“Easy to moderate windy loop trail. I parked by the sign off the side of the road and did not have an issue with parking there. The trail has pieces of bones along it and the various types of trees are labeled. Part of the trail is near a creek and the other is through the forest.”

“Quaint little park in Bucks County- a hidden gem. The lake is a nice view, campsites are very quiet. Camping is generally first come first serve, arrive early if you are hoping to get a particular site.”

“Been going there for years. The state has started some upgrades and improvements. Our cabin had all new screens and a new kitchen table. My sister-in-law's cabin had the above and new kitchen flooring. So there are no surprises the cabin cones with: bathroom with shower, two or three bedrooms (beds but no bedding), living room with I believe one couch and two chairs (no TV, internet, or sound system), kitchen area (stove, microwave, full size refrigerator, sink with running water). No pots, dishes, utensils, etc. The cabin does not have air conditioning. We use sleeping bags for bedding. Having been tent campers we have camp kitchen supplies. I'm also able to use paracord to rig a fan blowing out the kitchen window thereby drawing in cool evening air from the bedrooms, if the doors are left cracked. It's all about family time. Eating dinners outdoors. Campfires every night. The park to play in during the days. Enjoy!”
