“Nice, small local park. Playground, ball field, nature paths (which can be a bit muddy depending on the season). I wish Plumstead would put as much maintenance money into this Park as it does other, larger Parks. Especially some paved paths leading to the Park too enable access without having to walk/ride bikes on the road to get there would be nice.”

“Neat little side venture. Good shore fishing too”

“This access lies at the southern end of Nockamixon Lake. The shore around the access has plenty of wildlife; herons, turtles and black cormorants can often be found in fair numbers. It seems like this end of the lake attracts fewer people which is a good thing (in my opinion at any rate). There are rest rooms too, at least during the main season.”

“Great place to walk the dogs and fly kites. The loop is just under 1/2 a mile- Very open and a way to enjoy the country :)”

“This boat launch, in the southern portion of Lake Nockamixon, gains you access to the entire southern section of the lake. There is plenty to explore here, with inlets and coves everywhere. Lots of wildlife to be seen too.”

“I grew up going too twin oaks day camp, from age 2 to 22. I was a CIT then counselor, my dad was a director for almost 40 years and my whole family has worked there.”

“Overlooking Tohickon Creek ravine, this location affords visitors a nice view of the forest below and the creek flowing through. Heavily fenced off to prevent visitors from doing anything...un-smart. The fencing does detract somewhat from the views.”
Address: 6011 State Park Rd, Pipersville, PA 18947, USA
“Great park for walking, hiking and climbing. 3 trails seem to follow the contour of the area in high rocks, one path hugs the edge of the cliffs, one about 10 yards from the cliff edge and finally a path about 30 yards from the cliff edge. Each path seems to have its own level of difficulty. The lower portion of the park has foot paths that travel along the Tohickon creek and the entire park has fantastic veiws. The park has a long history in Bucks County, from the Native Americans in pre colonial times to the Stover family that ran the mill on the creek. During the Revolutionary war the caves in the area were hiding places for the notorious Doan family/gang that were known to be loyal to the British. The views from the high rock portion of the park are spectacular and provide recreation for novice to professional rock climbers. For those not looking for hike and just want to see the views may want to drive to the north side of the park and park on Tory rd. Those looking for a nice walk and rewarding hike should park at the main park entrance and walk over the bridge then north to the trails toward high rocks.”

“Clean shower and restroom. Very close to the lake. Only 12 sites but rarely used.”

“Very nice little park, they have bathrooms and a walking track. In addition to nice playground and football/soccer/baseball facilities. And next to the creek, also building another park across the street. Usually very quiet. Gets popular at lunch time for all the people going there to have lunch outside. They do have a small pavilion. Great little park for kids and animals. They do have dog waste bags available if needed.”

“Wonderful state park in bucks county! They have a pool and hiking trails. They also have a few cabins which we rented .. very peaceful and affordable . Cabin 3 and 4 sit by the water and have fireplace inside, shower , multiple beds , fridge and all the normal stuff.. their is no signal at the bottom from almost all carriers , be prepared to go back a century. But a beautiful and wonderfuk experience for the entire family . Bucks county tubing us a mile down the road . You could have a awesome vacation for not that much money . Would recommend”
