“Barkus Chocolates has been in business for decades, but I only recently heard of them and tried their chocolates. I bought their potato chip stack, peanut butter cup, s’more, and assorted box of chocolates. I liked most of the flavors. My favorite was the cherry cordial.”

“Debbie does a great job preparing all of the baked goods. This place is not open in the summer so be certain to check out or follow their Facebook page for updates for that day. As of Sept 2022 they are open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 6:30am until sold out or 2:30pm, whichever is first. Usually a great selection of various things but you have to be there early (like before 9) or they may be sold out of what you want so if you sleep in, you miss out. Been coming here since I was a kid and it's one of the few things left that I feel tastes the same now as it did when I was little. I recommend the maple walnut donuts, kiffles, maple rolls, rye bread and I just got a pie there and took it to a party and a lot of people said it was one of the best pies they've had in a long time. Pies are something special that are not always available. Sometimes she will make something special one day and not the next so sometimes things that you like are not always available but there are always plenty of yummy alternatives! Again, check their Facebook page for the specialty item. Most affordable bakery in town that I know of.”

“All of the staff are so nice to me when I go in - makes it feel inviting to sit down. Love the cold brew, smoothies, baked goods, and the guest espressos/international coffees. A lot of the syrups are homemade, and the cold brew has coffee ice cubes!!! Genius. Will go here vs the chain coffee shops any day of the week.”
