“After making a few calls, Johnstone had the part I needed, sold it to me as a regular homeowner, not a contractor, and my furnace was back up and running quickly! Had initially called a different store in the chain that didn't have the part, but they gave me the address for the Downingtown location and put in an order to have the part set aside for me.”

“Had an emergency hot water heater leak. Had called the manufacturer previously to do what I could and they referenced Weinstein plumbing and heating. I then called weinstein myself the following day(called manufacture on Sunday) .but Weinstein was professional and courteous from start to finish. A++ thank you to Austin at Weinstein's for making it all seem so easy. Your effort was more then just business as usual in our eyes. Thank you to all involved and setting a reminder of what customer service is all about.”

“I've lived down the street from this store my whole life. They've always had excellent service and quality goods and hardware inside. They have nearly everything that you're looking for and if they don't, they'll most likely be able to tell you where else you can find it.”

“Great prices, Cheap tools but as they say YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Excellent for the regular home owner that needs to do a small job but Does Not need the tool everyday for Professional Work. Please, Don't get me wrong, I have been in Carpentry, Concrete, Rough Framing, Roofing, Plumbing, Electrical Installation, Installation of Doors, Windows, Cable Services as well. I also do a lot of Mechanic work also on Cars Trucks n Bikes so I'm pretty much a Pro. Harbor freight is where you go when you need a certain Tool but after that your really maybe use that certain Tool 1 to 2 more times if at all? Great prices, great customer service and even friendly folks who can maybe guide you a little bit but if it's a Tool that you are going to use often ( More than 3 times per week) you don't have to spend serious Money to get your Project done! Now if you are a Pro that is when you can pick up a Tool ya gotta use that day, then you get it on the cheap and BE GENTLE WITH IT, IF YOU WANT TO USE MORE THAN ONCE! Great place to get Tools that don't cost so much that you ask yourself, Why did I take this Job? Convenient also when your pockets are just a bit Light!!!! Beware: If it Sounds to Cheap, ah it probably won't be worth buying it. I'm a guy who Loves his Tools and I know what I can make it by with and what is going to be a good investment. Also, Cheap Electronics ARE CHEAP ELECTRONICS! Don't get low priced Electronics because they will Probably Never WORK! THANKS, MAC”

“A smaller hardware store but in many ways better than bigger options like Home Depot or Lowes. The people who greet you here actually know how to help you or will quickly find someone who does. Everyone is friendly and there is a bit of everything from electrical, to plumbing, to little nick knacks.”

“OK, the picture that Google has of the store is not related to this site. But I took my grandson to visit the store and everyone was more than helpful to get me started in the right direction in building a great (safe) tree house in the backyard. Walking into the store (it is a small warehouse, not something you might expect as a retail location) we were welcomed in and our education started right off. The hardware guy was very friendly and demonstrated the hardware and various approaches to tree houses were covered. When I got to some technical questions we were passed off to Daniel, who took us on a tour that covered the various approaches from single tree to two, three and four tree treehouses. They even have a train that wraps through their woods using an array of techniques. (The grouds are used for partys etc.). I gained a good sense of confidence to start on my project. Daniel even suggested we take a few pictures of our planned trees and a draft layout and email or bring by for him to go over. They have what you need in hardware, expertise, and tools. They can even rent you tools to save money. We a a bit of a time finding this place using Google. Google dropped us off on the side of 202 (a limited access highway!). Yea, the store was somewhere through the woods. So we traveled to the street address the old fashion way and found their sign easily. Not sure why Google had an issue with that. Guess they may have used the GPS coordinates instead of the street address? The store is way back in the woods but there is good signage pointing the way. Just don't look for the store in the picture! That is not related to this place in any way.”
