“I am an old resident for not so good circumstances. This place kicked my butt, put me through hell, and and changed my life for the better. I dont know where I would be today if I had not gone here but I am thankful that I was forced to go to this place that. I went in a boy and came out a man. This place taught me life skills, core values, and morals that I still use today. That staff was amazing and you could tell that they did there job because they truly cared and wanted to help. When I was there they had the 3 day leap program where I got to go camping, hiking, rock climbing, and rappelling. The only complaint I had was the that the leap program wasnt longer. That was the time of my life because of how challenging it was. I was afraid of heights and faced my fear rappelling down 150 foot rock face over looking a valley where trees blanketed the ground. Great experience.”

“This is a professional climbing area, contact local climbing organization. However, also very nice to visit. Stay right on trail to hike to lower part of climbing cliffs. Great views, much wildlife and bold stream as you continue on trail. There is also a cabin that is rented ( I believe by Penn. DNR) there. Great hiking on AT and up to Chimney Rock overlook.
