“Always an amazing time at Starlite! The staff is friendly and helpful. The sites and bathroom are well maintained. The ice cream they serve at the general store is delicious and a real treat after a hot day. Went on the hayride and got see most of the property. Generally we camp in the fall but I convinced my colder weather loving boyfriend to go camping MDW with the incentive that there would be a pool for him to cool off in and it did not disappoint! The water was a little cool for me but perfect for him and the waters cold temperatures certainly didn't keep the kids out. Bingo was a lot of fun but make sure you get there early. We underestimated the appeal of Bingo so it was all eyes on us as we bought or bingo boards and took our seats. Highly recommended for tent campers.”

“The staff was very nice and catered to our needs. My family and I did 5 zip lines and 9 obstacles, challenging but very fun! Our guides Logan, Daniel were very nice and explained everything thoroughly. I had a great time and definitely recommend this for a family or small school trip!”

“Beautiful Inn! I'm usually hyper critical of where I stay so when I say it was clean and cozy I mean it. This Inn has been well maintained and the staff is wonderful. “Hotel is still under major renovations which resulted in my 4 star rating. Main hall, check in desk and bar/restaurant is completed. Outside and some current rooms is where the current construction focus appears to be. The room we stayed in was newly completed with new mattress, bedding, carpet and new tile in bathroom. An added feature was a built-in room air cleaner. A great feature in a hotel room. Customer service was fantastic, especially the manager on call. Food at the restaurant, though limited was delicious. They also had a Starbucks in the lobby area. I also noticed an attached golf course which I'm guessing was for hotel guests. When completed. This will be a great place to stay for a golf vacation or a luxury getaway. Looking forward to our next stay which will likely be after the hotel is completed.”

Our room was very comfortable and I appreciated the fact that the 500 level was only up one flight of steps (and not 5 stories up with no elevator yet.) If you don't mind a little construction mess while improvements are made this is a great place to stay.”

“Went there for a wedding. The venue was very beautiful and the wait staff was pleasant and attentive. Our meal, I assume, was catered by them and was very good. My only complaint is that there was no signage for the wedding and we had to stop at several different places looking for it because it was so big and confusing.”

“I stayed here for 3 nights over the Christmas holiday, visiting relatives in the area. I usually stay at one of the motels on busy Route 30, but wanted someplace quieter and out of the way. Spruce Lane Cottages were fantastic!! It sits back off the road (Rt 340), so traffic noise is not a problem. The cottage was exceptionally clean, and the bed (king size) was perfect, nice and firm. The cottage had a coffee maker and several packs of coffee. Because these are cottages, there is no noise from neighbors. The cottage I stayed in only had one adjacent unit, and both doors lead out to a private covered patio with a bench for sitting. The lodge sits right next to a wonderful Sheetz convenience store that's open 24 hours/day, and they have really good food and very good prices. This will be my 1st and only choice for accommodations during future visits, for sure! Thanks so much to the owners who have established a really nice place for the traveler to stay! Looking forward to returning in the near future!”

“We enjoyed our stay. Rooms where clean, beds were comfortable and the breakfast was decent. Gym was small but adequate. They have a Indoor pool which I didn't use. I couldn't hear the neighboring rooms but I did hear the footsteps from the room above. This hotel is perfect if you're interested in shopping at the outlets but close enough drive to the Amish stores. They were renovating the hotel during my stay which I didn't mine. I appreciated that the staff member told me that there might be noise due to the renovation before I actually paid for my room. I was placed in one of the renovated rooms and was pleased with the upgraded room.”

“We met just about everyone including the sheep. The hosts will do everything possible to make your stay everything it can be. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. These folks have mastered the art of hospitality. The food was fantastic. There are stairs. The place is old. Just like pictures. Its one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at and its run by some of the nicest folks we have ever met. I just wish it wasn't so far from home. We might move in. I would have given this place 6 stars but come to think of it there was one rude sheep, I think? That was a joke, just like the 2 negative reviews.”

“The B & B was beautiful and the room was clean but the hostess, and her family, was wonderful. I have food allergies and, thank God, she asked if we had any food restrictions when I booked the room. “My husband and I stayed at the Stumptown Manor Bed & Breakfast a couple of weeks ago. It was our first B&B in Lancaster and we loved it. God has gifted Sharon with the gift of hospitality and it was evident in how welcomed we were made to feel. The accommodations were wonderful as well as the food. My husband took ill during our stay, and Sharon was kind enough to give me essential oils for him to use. Within the hour, he felt good enough to go out. I highly recommend this B&B, and I look forward to visiting again.”
