    I grew up going to Camp Akbia for many summers. I stopped by a while ago, took these pics and reminisced of the past. I always remember there something to do at camp. I loved the lake and going climbing. We had go carts and many sports too. This used to one of the premier Jewish sleep away camps in the north east. Shout out to Howard and Susan Gordon. Thanks for the memories. I miss Uncle Jay who ran the boys pool and tutored me for my bar mitzvah. I have a vivid memory of him Saying, “All counselors rotate, all campers carry-on.” I still have a color war song from more than 15 years ago stuck inside my head.

    My daughter went there as a school trip for her last week of school before she graduated middle school. I went there as a chaperone. It was absolutely amazing. The senory was just fabulous. They had a two pools, a zip line that goes over a lake it was a thrill. They had a lot of obstacles like climbing and walking over a thin line gotta admit my daughter almost fainted on there she had to do the slide to the left and right song. There is also a volleyball net, basketball ball court, ping pong and many other things. The food was good although the chicken was dry other then that I can tell my daughter had a lot of fun. Hope you found this interesting...AND PLEASE VISIT THE PLACE IT'S GTEAT!!!!

    BEST PLACE TO GO!!!!!! Better with friends rather than with family. This place includes beautiful zip lining view, best tree top adventures, great drop zone, and a humongous lake for you to canoe. Not a lot of restrictions making the fun even more than other places. This place is meant for all ages.
