“I enjoyed my recent stay at this golf resort. I love when I can vacation with my husband in a peaceful and serene environment. There isn’t much to do on the resort but if you enjoy historic hotels and breathtaking scenery, please visit. The golf cart tour was the highlight of our trip. Being able to see the grounds and take amazing pictures was awesome. I will definitely be returning sometime soon. Thank you Shawnee for a great quick weekend getaway.”

“If in fact you need a place to have a wedding, graduating school, birthday party or something else and your inviting many people on a show string budget this is the place for you. It's fairly inexpensive and quite a bit to choose from including the rooms which are sized appropriately... Plenty of parking and lots of dancing room for those who enjoy getting down etc.”

“We found that the location, room, and breakfast were great, but during our stay we were never given keys to our room and were later told by one of the owners (who was visibly annoyed at 9:45 pm) when we rang the doorbell upon our arrival (being that our room was locked upon our return home) that we woke him up. My husband was also questioned by this same owner about why we were still in the room earlier in the day (around 1 pm) as I assume the expectation is that you sleep and leave as soon as possible. While I found the location, lodging, and food enjoyable I frequently felt as though we were inconveniencing our hosts. I would return as I found the lodging enjoyable but would hope that we were greeted with more warmth than we were upon our initial trip.”

“Wonderful experience staying over night here a couple nights. The pool was clean and felt so refreshing. The hotel was amazing. The decore was lovely. Everything was neat and tidy. Spacious rooms with cold air conditioning. Lovely porch to drink the free coffee in the mornings. And the views were breath taking. The staff was professional and catered to our needs with kindness. The food and night time entertainment was great. We will always stay here when we visit the Poconos.”
