“The owners took care make sure the waiting families of the children would be comfortable. There are a couple sofas and books nearby for reading to younger children. There are plenty of other chairs and tables around as well. There are enough bouncy structures to keep two rambunctious boys occupied for two hours. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. It is not state of the art and the building has some obvious wear, but I think the value for the price was 5 stars.”

“I had good meals here. The menu is large enough to keep you occupied if you have a multi-day stay at the resort. It tends to be busy, but no more than any other portion of the resort. I experienced some longer wait times which I think could have been avoided, but overall I was pleased with the service and the food. The convenience of the place makes up for any of its shortcomings.”

“It is hard to walk past their display cases and not experience some cravings. Although I tried my hardest to avoid purchasing anything...I ultimately lost that battle and walked out of there with way too much. Of everything that I have tasted, I would say the cake-pops were my favorite. The fudge that I had was pre-cut and a little dry and firm.”

“We ate here on the second night of our stay and the waffle fries appetizer was awesome and all of our burgers, salads and flatbreads were great too! The service was very good! We really enjoyed eating here and were thankful to not leave the resort at all during our stay since the temperatures outside were beyond frigid!”

“It's a wonderful place to go spend time with the family. I been there like 3 times and my family and I always feel safe and comfortable. The staff is friendly. If you call they may give you a better price. Need to make reservations to eat at the restaurant, unless you prefer to eat at the buffet or the other small food shops. Also, they have a lot of lifesavers around (you still responsible for your child) but it made me feel more secure.”

It wasn't cheap, but wasn't over priced considering you're at a resort and the price reflected the quality of food! My mouth is watering for the Chicken Saltimbocca! Definitely give it a try if you're staying at Kalahari!”

“My Central Air wasnt working, so I went on Google and did a quick search for a local HVAC certified Tech. Mack was at the top of the list. I called left a message and he got back to me quickly. I explained to Mack what the issue was, he was up front about costs, etc. and we set up an appointment the next day. When he arrived he was ready to diagnose the repairs, from the symptoms he knew right away where to check first. As he worked he explained what he was doing and why. He is very transparent. He had the part in stock in the truck ready to go. The repair was made and the system thoroughly tested. While he was there he also volunteered to take a quick look at the heat as well since fall/winter is upon us. He gave the systems a clean bill of health and tips on what to keep an eye on and what maintenance I could do as well. His pricing is fair, and I'm sure there are cheaper guys out there but they typically just throw parts at things until something works. Mack is true technician and has a wealth of knowledge and it shows. Your paying not only for Mack's service and parts but his knowledge. Well worth it and he has a customer for life!”

“Mack and Pete came in the middle of a blizzard and ice storm to get my boiler leak and frozen pipe mess under control. Within an hour the heat was up and roaring. They helped me clean up! Great guys at great affordable prices and they carry parts on the truck to get the job done. I do recommend them.”
