I felt dizzy and nauseous from the glucose test and Ruma took me in the back to lay down and continued to check in on me to make sure I was okay. “I experienced a warm welcome from all levels of students and teachers when I started a few months ago (prior to the time of this writing). Having studied other martial arts, I appreciate the environment of the academy, which promotes immersive learning from one another. The atmosphere is one of comradery over military discipline. That said, as Kung Fu is the origin of all martial arts the academy teaches control, discipline and peace in all elements of life, including physically and mentally. I've already received a lot in my short kung fu journey and have learned more about myself during this short period than while in any other school. I intend to introduce my daughter to the program when she's ready.”

“I recently had the opportunity to attend a performance of the Divine Hand Ensemble. The ensemble and the accompanying dancers were top shelf. I enjoyed the music and the dancing, both were performed by very talented artists. What was somewhat distracting was the antics of the thereminist. During the performance Mr. Divina repeatedly exited and entered the stage for no apparent reason.”

Not only has she been the one person who ALWAYS helps me with my chronic pain, she is the ONLY one who has truly helped me with PTSD. January 12, 2019 will be my 4 year anniversary of not ever having a night terror and screaming, sobbing and going into a fetal position whenever I see anyone with a knife (stabbing or being stabbed) in a movie or tv show.
