“So this was my first time playing this course. It was a fun challenge, but don't underestimate "challenge". Hole 1 is a false illusion. It's a pretty straightforward par 4, 387 from the tips. It looks wider than it is. And no 2 holes are alike either. The course itself was in great condition. The greens were fast, but not overly fast, the rough certainly can be thick and punish errant shots, and the 6002 yard length from the tips is compensated for by the tightness of the whole thing. The food was excellent, and the staff were great. Everything was clean. The only two minor things are that 1. The entrance was a little unusual, as you had to pass by what appeared to be a loading dock before you got to the pro shop, the restaurant was not connected to the pro shop, so it required a walk to get from one to the other, and holes 9 and 10 are a pretty long distance from each other. I was able to ignore this because everything else was great. Ball marks were good, the tee boxes were all in good shape, and the maintenance people were helpful in finding a ball that landed in their vicinity. Overall, it's a fun challenge that I would play again.”
