“Starting in the Martial Arts was something I thought was just “a cool idea”. It was an activity that I thought would be fun. After all....it looked awesome in the movies! Little did I know that it would lead to something much more powerful for my life. I started as a student and noticed very soon the amazing benefits in my life. I was more confident at work and in my social life. I was more calm and had an outlet for the daily frustrations that my work life always seemed to have in store for me. I was in the best shape of my life! Who was I to keep that to myself? I decided to share my new passion for the art with others and from there my life as a martial artist grew leaps and bounds. Action Karate not only taught me how to defend myself but taught me the lessons of leadership and how to help others improve their lives.
