“The dentist I had for 20 plus years (since I first had teeth) didn’t take my insurance anymore, and I found it difficult to try someone new. I was so scared I waited too long, and wound up with pain, and several issues requiring immediate attention. I was referred there by my mother, and they were able to fit me in fast. The staff is pleasant, and easy to talk to. I was very impressed with the care that was taken by the dental hygienist at my first trip. She knew my gums were sensitive, and took such great care while cleaning. Dr. Mafa is fantastic too. She is charming, kind, but also very honest. I have been back a couple of times now (I’ll be back a bunch more too), and I never felt like things were rushed. This is not so common in a medical setting nowadays. I felt like she had my best interests in mind at every appointment, and every step of the way. Everything was transparent, and no sugar coating. The employees seems to have a great working relationship, and that contributes to the comfortability of the atmosphere too. I drive 90 minutes to get there. This was initially for the ease of having my mom watch my son, but I would be willing to make this drive regardless now. I recommend Dr. Mafa to anyone that is looking for a top notch dentist in a friendly atmosphere.”
