“The staff of this library branch are some of the most helpful and accommodating of any library branch I've visited in my decades of living in Philadelphia. I am new to the South Philly and these were some of the first people I met. The branch may need some work, but the staff knows the children and adults that frequent the place and are always ready to assist. Whether it's with literary recommendations or computer sign-ins; these people are there to serve. I like them for that!”

“For your airport fix of Philly steak with chicken or steak, I hear this is the best go-to. Definitely think it does the trick coming from a long flight or layover. We had the chicken and beef steak with fresh fries. Recommended getting the added hot peppers for extra kick. It was good but also excited to true more place downtown for possibly more of the real deal or comparison. Usually a small wait but they have quite a few cooks in the kitchen. Enjoy !”

“This turned out to be a terrific alternative to the higher-priced hotels in downtown Philadelphia. This bed and breakfast is in the Germantown section of Philly. The host family was extremely nice and provided a continental style breakfast. The muffins were homemade and delicious. It was fun to eat a family style breakfast with the other people staying there. The rooms were clean & cozy with a homestyle comfort. There was plenty of on-street parking so I was able to just leave my car and take a Lyft into the city saving me the aggravation of trying to find a spot downtown. Great experience.”

“I've been here a couple times. First time I brought in cream colored pants with a stain. She got it out and the pants looked like new. I honestly couldn't tell you what was charged. If it was oddly high or low I would remember. I'm happy and the service is convenient for me.”

“I've worked at the Philly airport for about 10 years. So I've seen a few pizza places come and go. This is the best pizza the Philly airport has ever had. It's a bit pricey, but we'll worth it. They make everything fresh, and some ingredients are imported from Italy. My favorite is the Philly cheese steak pizza. If you have a few extra minutes between flights, definitely give this place a try.”

“Maureen Davis and Open Door Mission truly worship The Lord Jesus Christ. The fellowship is blessed. My friend, the Reverend Doctor Eric Jarmon is a member of this fellowship and invited me there. I studied with him at the former Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a true man of God.”

“So I'm just going to say it... This is a crunchy place frequented by crunchy people and their children ???????????? BUT! their food is always fresh, most of the staff are friendly I personally recommend the Alaska wrap - they have a wonderful selection of vegetarian amd vegan options and make a great green smoothie! They also have a huge selection of tea and coffee. I also like that they have created a space where all are welcomed & respected (altho it's a small space and sometimes I get tired of listening to ppl pontificate about the definition of suffering but hey! That's what headphones are for ????)”

“They have been in business for over forty years. I do know they have changed owners a few times. The quality of the food and they do make very good sandwiches. They have hard to find Italian food for the neighborhood. Some Philly only things like soft pretzels and real ???? tomato pie. The store is always clean and there is always enough help so the wait is never long. The ladies at the check out are always polite and helpful.”
