It has two areas, one for the medium sized kids (roughly 3 and up) and one for little tykes (3 and under). There is a dog park nearby that can be viewed from the ground or the ramp leading to the river walkway. The kids found this just as exciting as the playground.???????? “This is a lovely park! However, NOT AT ALL DOG FRIENDLY!!! Many signs directing people to keep dogs "off the grass for the health and safety of children." Should you ignore the signs, one of the many parents playing with their kids will tell you to "take your dog to the dog park a few blocks away." I've lived in the neighborhood for 14 years, with my dog(s), don't bother doing anything with your dog but sitting quietly on a bench or strolling through, no one minds either of those. Again, lovely place, just not for your dog to romp.”
