“I took my 88 girl mother because I wanted someplace new to sit outside. She had not eaten at 8 Mexican restaurant for a long time. We had Angelica as our waitress. She is very caring and compassionate and it's a fine representative of Mad Max. The scenery was great. It was a nice view of the Lake. Also, the food was very filling and good. I had a cauliflower Bowl which filled me up. Music was a little noisy but okay”

“Hawthorne Woods is a wonderful Assisted Living Community. They refer to the building as a "community" rather than a patient type relationship. All of their caregivers care deeply for the residents and this extends into the managerial staff as well. They have a fantastic Activities Coordinator and it shows through their community Facebook page, which is open to everyone. I encourage you to check it out if you're interested in placing a loved one into the community of Hawthorne Woods. Their weekly activity calendar is posted as well as pictures of community members and highlights from the day.”

“I had to bring my dog here at 4am because the local emergency hospital told me that they couldn't see us without an appointment. I called ahead to MedVet and they told me to come on in. The staff that I spoke with was super nice and when I arrived, they took my dog back right away. Everyone that I spoke with was very kind and considerate and they were very thorough with getting her medical history as she had never been there before. We spent seven hours there and the veterinarians kept me updated regularly with how she was doing. Eventually we did have to be transferred to PVSEC, but they called ahead and told them to expect us and sent over all of the information so it was a seamless transition from one facility to the next. I'm very particular about where I take my animals and I can say that I appreciate the dedication and compassion from the staff at MedVet. Even though it's almost a 40 minute drive for me, I will definitely go here again if I ever need emergency medical care for my pets.”
