“I can only start by saying Fairhavens and Eleanor (the owner) are Heaven Sent to my sister Donna and I (Pat). Day one which was four years ago we found Fairhavens for our Mom (Jennie) we all felt at home. The staff are well qualified. The place is clean and well organized. My mom loves it there and has never had any problems with anything or anyone. My mom is still living there and loving all the special care that they provide. My sister Donna or I visit every other day one of us are covering the week different times of the day, they are always welcoming all day anytime. We both would recommend this home to anyone with loved ones that need extra care.Thank You to Fairhavens, Eleanor, ALL the special staff ( sorry I can’t list everyone by name) you all know who and how special you are, we do appreciate all that you do all that you give on a daily basis YOU ARE THE BEST!”

“Went to Dr Diehl in Gettysburg with back problem. He looked at my hands and elbows. Ordered an xray. A little bloodwork looking for a certain gene. I went back in for my results. He said I don't have the gene, but told me I had anyklosing spondylitis and I would have to give myself injections. Never explained really what it was. Told me injections was my only option. Went to get 2nd opinion with Dr Phillips in Hanover. Thank God! Did multiple tests...9 tubes of blood taken. Actually looked at my back and pressed to see where the pain was, (Dr Diehl never did) Talked with me for a good 20 minutes just asking my about my past medical problems and family history. Gave me a pamphlet of exercises I could do to alleviate the pain. (Dr. Diehl never did) Put me on a med (pill) and I am feeling amazing! Thank you Dr Phillips!!”
