“My grandfather, George Ellien , was one of the founders of this church. My mom always spoke of it and her home town. A few years ago my daughter and I travelled to Brownsville to visit this church and drive around the town that mom loved. The church is lovely, a stained glass window recognizes my grandfather and one in the sanctuary recognizes his brother Baddy . All the homes and schools mom mentioned are gone and replaced. I’ll go back again.”

“Zachary Jones the store manager took care of me so wonderfully he fixed what AT&T customer support on the phone cannot fix after 9 1/2 hours in three days he fix in 30 minutes. The man was injured on a crutch and still did a better job than people that had no ailments I would highly recommend if you have any AT&T problems, you go see him directly.”

“I have been going to services at this church since 2015 and became a member when our family was baptized in August of 2015. It was one of the most special days of my life. I also attend Ladies class on Monday nights and enjoy the welcoming fellowship we have here. What I love most about our church is that we are bible based and do weekly communion on Sunday worship. Christ dying on the cross for our sins is the most important constant reminder that we are saved and to share the good news with others. I also love music and enjoy singing the hymns acapella. .”

“I am the music director at St. John’s and I have served there for 11 years. There is a warm welcoming feeling here..... A true church family, loving and praising God as they serve one another and their community with the love and peace of Jesus Christ. The Services are uplifting and lively and Pastor Lisa’s sermons are meaningful and relevant. The facilities are beautifully kept with a mix of modern and traditional with warm woods and stained glass windows, lots of gathering space, many classrooms, a fantastic choir room filled with traditional and contemporary music. Our instruments are many as well.....grand piano, synthesizer, organ, guitar, drums, percussion and hand drums, saxes, clarinet, flute, and handbells! Make a joyful noise! No kidding, plus we have FUN and there is concern for everyone. Oh and let’s not forget the beautiful gardens. And.......St. John’s is totally handicapped accessible. We have an elevator! I could go on and on but I think you should just come and see for yourself. St. John’s has it all. 🙏😇”
