“Hello, I have been ordering flowers,gift baskets for at least the past five years from Collingdale Flowers. Five star service and no less! One of the most busiest day for flowers on Mother's Day, I decided to order a beautiful plant and flowers and have it specifically delivered to a church at at specific time the next day, it was on time, simply beautiful and the person loved it! Also, I decided to call back and have flowers sent to Wilmington DE as well, to a office location at a specific time. It arrived on time, I got the call with tears in the person voice saying thank you"! One more story...I moved and wondered how this would work out if I ordered from my city back to Delaware county? No problem! I have a relative who had a birthday and was planning on leaving town that evening for the weekend. I simply did not know what to get for her. I called Collingdale Flowers, I said I would like a gift basket that has everything in it for someone special. She was going to be leaving the location in 6 hrs. We discussed what I wanted the basket to have in it. I have no idea how they do it! Within a few hrs they arrived, the "Gift Basket" was so beautiful and so heavy it took a guy to carry it to her car! She took it out of town with her. She said the basket was so abundant she shared it with 4 people over the weekend. Collingdale Flowers is no less than *****Five Stars***** hands down. V.R”

“Holly from Froggy's Garden Flowers was SO lovely to work with-- attentive, creative and all-around delightful. She was very thorough working with me to get the right feel for what we wanted and how everything should look. Our bouquets and corsages/boutonnieres were stunning, and she even used local plants that I completely loved as a beautiful touch to tie in my homeland to our theme. When we needed more flowers for our centrepieces at the last minute (we were going to use my aunt's, then her garden flooded), Holly came through with a bucket of zinnias and beautiful roses at the last minute, even including extra flowers and going so far above and beyond. I can't recommend her enough-- so, so worth it.”

“Changed rating to 4 stars as Rhoads made the situation (described below) right. Hoping the trees planted these year make it through the winter. Will keep you posted. I left off one star since there intial response to my issue, in my estimation, was not acceptable. BUYER BEWARE-DO NOT PURCHASE LARGE EXPENSIVE TREES OR PLANTS FROM RHOADS. (unless you have $$ to throw away) We purchased, and had Rhoads plant, 2 crepe myrtles in September 2017. They are dead this year - 2018. I called and was told that they lost all theirs also since it was a bad winter for crepe myrtles. I was also told that is why you don't plant crepe myrtles in this area; a small fact that was not communicated to me when we purchased the trees. They have no problem taking your money and not telling you the information you need to know to make the right decision. No guarantee on any plants so I am out $700. I do not mind paying the price but if the business does not have the knowledge to help customers and employees are rude then it is not worth it. I will do all my future plant purchases elsewhere!”

The store if well stocked with a wide variety of quality products. My visits are efficient and timely. The on-site butchers are very accommodating and are proficient. “I had the pleasure of working directly with Herb Rothe, the owner of the florist, and I couldn't be happier. Herb was so sweet and made picking out flowers and creating bouquets and center pieces so easy! I had no idea what I was envisioning. All I told him was: "I want lanterns, blush and slate blue flowers, some succulents in my bouquet.... Can that work?" He turned those details into a full wedding decoration. I ended up buying my own lanterns as a cost saving, and after the wedding, he loved the look so much, he bought them off of me. He created wreaths for all my center pieces and put just the tops of blush spray roses and other flowers I can't pronounce into it, creating this very delicate and simple arrangement. We put an LED pillar in each lantern to have a soft glow, and then I bought votives for each table that he placed to add to the effect. Also, one of my lanterns broke, and he turned it into the card table decoration and covered the broken side with cascading flowers, it was beautiful. He was so easy to work with, very responsive via email and phone, and gave me links to amazon and other sites to try to cut down on rental costs. I gave him barely any direction and he was able to put together such beautiful designs. At the end of the night I donated my flowers so that they could be sent to a local hospice residents to enjoy, and the non-profit was in awe of my flowers. Call him, work with him, he's great. I was so thrilled I decided to get my bouquet preserved to have that forever.”

“Primrose is a small local shop that is easy to miss. The place it's self has a decent selection, but being a small shop, it can be on the pricey side of things. I got a great bouquet of flowers for my wife. It came with some plant food and the flowers lasted nicely. Altogether I would certainly go again. Just know the door can get jammed and so it may actually be hard to enter the store.”
