“A small but informative museum with interesting exhibits and artifacts on local Mennonite history and culture. The bookstore has some interesting titles, including used historical books that you can buy for as low as $5. There is a small admission fee ($5 when we visited). Definitely add this to your itinerary when you visit Lancaster.”

“I have been there a few times with my son in the mornings during the week for story time. I love that they do this. We are new to the area so it gives my son a chance to hang out with other kids his age, enjoy song, dance, stories, and a craft. Highly recommend! The staff is friendly and the other patrons are too.”

“A must go to if you have a child. They do special reading hours with service animals and have one of the largest children’s book collections you will find. They also update the books regularly so you will never encounter books that are run down or in bad shape. They also have children’s computers (in addition to regular computers) as well as puzzles and games. Good selection of movies and books on tape too.”

“I absolutely love the New Oxford Library! Every single time I go, the Librarians are so welcoming & helpful. They take the time to walk you through the steps of a task if you're having difficulty (i.e. Signing onto a computer or putting books on hold through the Library website). Yes, it is a rather small Library but you are able to get books transferred from other branches & I think this Library is great for kiddos, as well, because it's not an overwhelming amount of bookcases & shelving so they are able to choose books more easily. This Library has 4 computers & the price is great for printing or making copies! Although they do have limited hours of operation, there is a good mix of being open earlier one day & later the next so that no matter what your schedule, the opportunity is there to go check it out! I highly recommend this Library!”

“A nice library. The staff is willing to go out of their way to help you. Patrons and visitors may work on the library's computers, but the use of thumb drives is not allowed. That was a bit of a surprise. Please visit them!”

“An Historic Event that ushered in Every New Year in Philadelphia. The Museum is full of Treasures. Mummers are a Brotherhood/Sisterhood. They devote a large amount of time and effort to this One Day. Sadly I Believe the Parade lost some of its Glitter when it changed its Starting point from South of Oregon ave. In South Philly. Still these People should be Honored for their Devotion and Participation. A Unique Event.Pure Philly!”
