Variety of room types, decent breakfast, coffee 24hrs in lobby. York is very close to downtown about 5 minutes out. Many resteraunts and stores nearby. Not far to Tommy's pizza or the battlefield.”

“I stayed in the grand king room and it was beautiful. They staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room we were checked into was perfect except the tub wouldn’t drain. We called the front desk and they quickly came to look at it, they were unable to get it to drain immediately so they put us in a new room and gave us a complementary bottle of wine. The complimentary breakfast was superb. Was wonderful and would definitely stay again.”

“Enjoyed our stay over the weekend! All of the staff was extremely helpful and very kind. Check in and out was no issues and rooms were very clean and beds were comfy. Loved the area outside of the bathroom for others to do makeup and hair while someone else was in the bathroom. Breakfast was good and fresh. We stayed from Friday through Monday and would definitely stay again. Just minutes away from Sight and Sound Theater and only 45 minutes away from Hershey Park. Great location and beautiful area!”

Victorian styling, very unique, clean enough (few things had aged horribly, like the shower and floor boards), however, considering the age and location, I can offer nothing more than my support. It was a very unique experience, and if you go in without expecting a 5 star super hotel from a major city, you probably won't be disappointed. Unfortunately, I happen to be deathly allergic to animals and the petting zoo was right outside, so I won't be visiting again, due to the fact that I could barely breathe afterwards. However, I still find it to be a unique and interesting experience. The diner and main building were quite unique as well. Will recommend to anyone on a train-themed trip. Will note that I found the light switch for the bathroom to be oddly placed.... Essentially inside the shower... Don't recommend playing with the lights while showering, kind of hurts.”

“We stayed back in April and to this day and other trips later, it was still my kids favorite place to stay. They loved the horse and buggies going by all day, the cows and goats, the pond to fish in and the covered bridge we drove over to get to our cabin. Wonderful place. Very inexpensive too. We had planned on staying at a hotel during our stay but I am so glad we didn’t!”

“Must visit!! Well worth it with a beautiful mountain view. Cozy, clean, well maintained and well equipped. Owner was very accommodating, responded immediately with any questions and even had toys for the pups when we arrived. Cabin is spacious and includes extra blankets for those chilly nights. Loved the pot belly stove, which kept the entire house toasty. Kitchen was well equipped with all necessary cooking supplies, even had a doughnut maker! Not far from all activities about a 30 minute drive to Camelback and similar resorts. I would definitely reccomend renting here for your next getaway!”
