“Stocked like crazy, wild brown trout everywhere, great accessibility, and PUBLIC LAND. I definitely consider this as my homewaters. Please remember to release wild trout unharmed. They have yellow and white bellies with red spots and white fin edges. Tight lines!”

“Room was clean and comfortable, which is what was most important to me. A few suggestions - a) super loud music from another guest Saturday afternoon, which stopped after about 20 minutes, you may want to remind some of your longer term guests not to do this; b) although the blinds on the doors are attractive, I felt uncomfortable after dark as there were some broken places in the shade and I didn't like that someone could "peep" in from outside if they wanted to. As a single female traveler, my number one priority is privacy and safety. Overall, I was super pleased with the price and again, the cleanliness.”

“Dutch Cousin Campground is fairly small, maybe 80 sites or so. Most of the sites are shaded in the summer and I believe all the sites have water and electricity during the regular camping season. Most but not all sites have sewer hookup. The campground is owned and run by a very nice middle aged couple who live in the house at the campground entrance. About 70% of the sites are occupied by seasonal campers. My favorite thing about this campground is, it doesn't have a swimming pool. Pools are only open for three months but the campers pay for the pool year round, plus no pool, no packs a kids running around causing problems. Dutch Cousin Campground is a nice quiet family campground.”

“This place is conveniently located. There is a nice tavern that was part of the Black Horse Lodge but it is now under new ownership. There is a diner close to the Lodge and a little antique shop across the road from it. This facility is older but the room was clean and spacious as well as having a front and back door to your room. The free breakfast was nothing to brag about but hey, it's free.”

“I have been staying here for a few years. Only place I recommend to people. I always feel so welcomed. Always very clean. I love early mornings looking out to the field or feeding the fish across the road. It is so nice to plop down on a comfy big bed mid afternoon from shopping and taking a nap. Love, love little sink and plates, utensils to enjoy my local snacks. She always has drinks in the fridge. So many soft towels and generous spa tub. Gas, cozy fireplace in the Fall. Self serve espresso machine in dining. Perfect country breakfast for me. I can't imagine staying anywhere else.”

“I lived in Ohio with my family, so I have been interested in Amish so very much. My dream had been staying in Amish farm for a long time and finally my dream came true. My staying with my husband was so wonderful and impressive! Warm hospitality of Mr. and Mrs. Stoltzfus, good scene, calm and tranquil surroundings and perfect facilities in the guesthouse. All were absolutely perfect. We believe that we will be back in the future! At first we were anxious if we could contact the owners smoothly, because now we live in Tokyo, Japan. But soon it turned to be in vain. The manager (or organizer) named Dave helped us a lot. When we made our reservation, he replied to be accepted soon. Moreover, whenever we asked questions(we wanted to visit another farm tour and to know correct address of the house where Amish dinner would be served), he answered promptly and concisely. It was so helpful! Thanks to him, we could enjoy a farm tour in Old Windmill Farm and a wonderful dinner with Amish sisters and their children. They were so very splendid and impressive, too. It was so impressive for us that most Amish not only struggled to keep their own ways of life but also tried hard to change and march with the times. Their living inspired us a lot. I’d like to appreciate the Stoltzfus, Dave and all who were involved with our staying. As I wrote, we will sure to be back here in the future.”

“The White Oaks Campground is a quite little RV park close to Lancaster. The park is fine if your looking to get away but the site are not totally level and internet is a little slow.. Your also close to your neighbor which isn't a big deal if you get a good one like I did. I would recommend it for a quick stop to visit Lancaster Pa.”

“We had an amazing stay at Harrington House. Chloe was such an amazing host. Everything was neat and clean. The bedding was so comfortable and you have easy access to the town of Milford. Each morning Chloe prepared breakfast for us. My husband actually said today he's not sure how he will live without Chloe's breakfast. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!”
